We love Pizza so we tried Mamma Mia. Very friendly service but not what we expected. Very cracker like crust. But the beer was cold and the entire meal was reasonably priced.

My wife and I have been to Huatulco 3 times, each for a month and Mamma Mia's had become a staple spot for us... Good food, decent wine and reasonable prices. We visited on night two of this trip... A Monday, Feb 17. The street chaos was comfortable... The menu familiar. I ordered the beef carpaccio followed by spaghetti bolognese.... More

We arrived on a busy night and waited for a bit as they tried to seat 8 of us. That is totally understandable. So, overall due to business, service was a bit slow, but I'm on vacation and have nowhere to be. We ordered pizza and pasta. The pizza was OK, but nothing special. The pasta on the other hand,... Being my last night in Huatulco, I saved it for Italian. My family & I were starving & went to Mama mia, service is not bad but I ordered a new York Steak & it was the most horrible thing ever. I barely could eat a piece of it, it was fatty, dry, tough & horrible. I still had to... More

We were a group of 6. Different types of pizzas and pastas were ordered. Everybody did enjoy every bites they took. I had pennies with smoked salmon which were great but the spinach raviolis that my friend had were even better. Even if I am not crazy about spinach - that would convince me to eat that vegetable every day.... More

Last night we went for a birthday dinner, party of twelve. We made reservations so they were prepared for a large group. Have to rate this a five star, all 12 dishes were delicious and our meals were all served at the same time. The Chicken Parmesan was a real hit, delicious and huge serving. Another great dish was the... More

We went to this restaurant that was recommended to us. We had the veg lasagna and the meat lasagna, excellent food. Will go back! Very polite and friendly.

Every year, we go to Mamma Mia at least twice for Italian food while in Huatulco. Food quality and service here have never disappointed us. The pasta dishes, especially the lasagna and spaghetti bolonesa, are signature dishes and never fail to satisfy. The outdoor seating is especially nice in the evenings and the complimentary mezcal for dessert is a really... More

Wow what great pizza!!! All the pizzas were made in a clay oven. This little pizzeria seats only 28 guests while we were there the place was completely full with a line of people waiting outside to get in. The owners put some tables and chairs up on the sidewalk to accommodate them. The staff was a lot of fun... More

This restaurant is very small. They can not handle big groups (over 4) well. They are often out of things they advertise, which is no biggie in the long run. The food is good but uneven. Loved the pizza when it finally came. If you're in a hurry …order the pastas. They seem to come first. The portions are more... More
