I went with my family, shrimp: over cooked, beer price not on the menu, they will charge you as they see fit (bad thing if you look asian or caucasian) also they don't have fresh sauce it's bottled. There are a lot of place in huatulco better than this. Also they charge 10% tip mandatory. Stay away.

This terrific seafood restaurant is just a block or two off the zocalo. The staff was very inviting and personable. The catch-of-the-day was Mahi Mahi..which can be prepared several ways according to your preference. Ours was cooked in garlic and butter...and was perfect...a slight crust with a melt-in-your mouth centre. These folks know how to cook fish. Prices were quite... More

This is the real Mexico, not a tourist trap. Locals are enjoying traditional food along with a few tourists. The decor is simple but warm, the staff are fantastic! We wanted to have wine with dinner and the restaurant only served beer but the owner was nice enough to take my husband to a local grocery store to purchase a... More

Although I don't like repeating restaurants we have visited, this one is worthy of a second trip. We were lucky to get the last available table on the night we visited. We had octopus and shrimp in garlic and butter, some of the best shrimp I have ever had! And as busy as it was, service was great! We come... More

We had a very good seafood meal here in the centre of La Crucecita. The restaurant did not open until 1:00 PM but the local shopping and visit to the church passed the time wonderfully. The fish was exceedlinly fresh, we even had to wait a few minutes for a freshly caught Mahi-mahi to arrive. It cost 565 pesos for... More

Saturday, Mar 21, friends from our home town treated us to another fine dinner at El Grillo. To our delight the boys had caught a Dorado and Filetes del Dorado was offered as the catch of the day. Perfectly grilled with perfectly grilled garlic slices on top, this was the best Dorado (aka Mahi Mahi) dinner was have had....full stop...period.... More

A smallish restaurant in the heart of La Crucecita, patronized by locals and tourists. The food really is good and excellent value. Just didn't have time to go back again - next time for sure.
