Great Staff

Four of us dined at Kristal Rose. We ordered the Cesar salad and it was made in front of us. The food was wonderful. We were the only people in the restaurant for most of the evening. The wait staff was great, but they would prefer pesos instead of American money. We would go again.

I was staying nearby and decided to come here for breakfast. I was the only person in the restaurant the whole time, but it was still great! Really good coffee, pastry, and huevos aztecas! Have wifi too!

While this restaurant was highly recommended, it was not up to the same standard as our last visit. There were more staff than customers, yet the service was incredibly slow and the food only adequate. The beet salad should be avoided! It seems that everything was sauce laden making it difficult to taste anything else.

We'd forgotten about Kristal Rose because... well, it happens. Then someone said they were doing Mexican lunch, the comida corrida, from 1 to 4pm. And so we went today! GOOD CHOICE! An excellent set menu with choice of soup or rice starters (both delicious), then a stuffed pepper with chicken or a slice of tender beef, nopal cactus and refried... More

Don't miss this wonderful dining experience in Huatulco. A hidden gem just a few blocks walk from the square. Juan and his staff welcomed us with a friendly smile and provided a detailed description of various options offered on the menu. The service was professional. This place is very clean and has air-conditioning, which is a nice break from the... More

Haven't eaten here in several years, we opted for the outdoor seating instead of the inside air conditioning. Had the arracherra which was very good, comes with a baked potato. I would have preferred rice and beans but the potato was good. Margaritas were some of the best I had. Also had the flan for dessert. Service is attentive.

It used to be that this was the go to place for a thick, scrumptious steak but that seems to have changed. Out of 10 in our party, 5 of us had steak and were all disappointed. Four of us had a small steak while one of the gents ordered a grande steak (more expensive of course). When we were... More

Last year I wrote a review on this restaurant and was not sure if we would ever come back due to a bad experience. My wife and I decided to give it another chance this year, since so many people we know raved about it. We are so glad we did! We visited in February 2015 and ordered the grilled... More

Dropped into this well known landmark in Huatulco last night for a dinner with 8 other friends. Heard the steaks were great. Taste wise, yes they weren't bad, but talk about skinny steaks! They were all of 3/8" thick if that. So when you're getting charged a healthy $250P for a few steamed veggies, a baked potato, and a 350gr.... More
