We have eaten there many times on our last vacation in Acapulco and everything is just wonderful. The two gentlemen that took care of us were Danny Boy and Carlos and they couldn't do enough for you. From the Filet, to the Mexican dishes and the fish, everything was just fantastic. One you eat here once, you will always come... More

On a side street off the Costera. Food is very good especially the beef, very rare in Acapulco, the Chateaubriand table side is excellent. Drinks are family priced and the flaming coffee at 50 peso is a worthy show.

We ate here a couple times during our November visit and found that being close to where we were staying was a plus, but that the food was no better than okay. I had expressed a desire to try the famous Thursday soup Pozole guerrerense and was told that El Jacalito made it fresh every Thursday and that it was... More

Stopped here on our first night in Acapulco based upon a recommendation at the Timeshare. Wife had Red Snapper grilled, which was a little over done and quite dry. I ordered the beef shish kebab rare, but it also over cooked. Second time we tried El Jacalito, the wife ordered the fish filet, which appeared to have been frozen and... More

We went to El Jacalito from recommendations from a few friends. You have many choices to go with I choose the coconut shrimp which was a decent portion and good flavor but slightly dry. My girls went with Fettecini alfredo with grilled chicken which they liked. Funny but after having the pasta at La Casa de la pasta no other... More

It is hard to believe that El Jacalito has not yet been reviewed on TA. I have been there several times over the years and have always had a pleasant dining experience. It is located about 2 blocks west of the Plaza Bahia Mall, just off the Costera, about a 1/2 block down towards the beach on a little side... More
