I had dinner here with some friends on my last visit to Acapulco. I was surprised that I had never found this place before. Great attention to detail, attentive service, good menu and very comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. I will be back.

This is my restaurant of choice in Acapulco. Excellent food, impeccable service and the bill doesn't take your breath away. Always go here whenever we want to eat out. Much better value that the over priced establishments on the Escenica.

We were there twice in April 2013 and had excellent meals both times, zero complaints. Our steaks were A+++ as were the salads.

We called the night that we were planning to go to Carmenere, and made reservations for the same night (an hour before we wanted to go). They didn't even ask our names on the phone, which made me feel like reservations were unnecessary, although when we arrived they asked if we had a reservation. The food was beautiful, delicious, and... More

We spent the evening celebrating our Granddaughters 21st Birthday and it was wonderful. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the staff went out of their way to make sure she had a fun night.

Carmenere is a quaint, beautifully decorated restaurant tucked into a small shopping center. From the outside it is hard to tell what lies past the front doors. Once inside you are delighted, with the wonderful aromas of fine Italian dining, romantic with table clothes. candles, flowers. A nice selection of wines and spirits and appetizers that are foreplay to what... More

Reservation for 2 before 10PM during the week, forget it, even if you call a week in advance. When we did get in one evening at around 8PM, on a weekday, we were told that half the food on the menu was already unavailable, made me wonder why they were still open. My wife's Dijon Shrimp was served just about... More

I looks up the reviews and decided to go here as it sounds great. Ended up taking us over an hour to get there, and was dismayed to be turned away at the door for not having sleeves. Despite being in Acapulco, mostly empty and a seemingly mid-range price, a strict dress code was enforced. Be warned. Very disappointing experience.

Great resturant when you want to upscale your food along with a full bar and fine wines. The owner and servers (Omar) great us like old friends This resturant is not on the beach but, located in a small all mall next to Oceanic 2000. The three of us had another wonderful dinner her. The menu is varied and has... More
