Hard to think of a better Restaurant in Acapulco!!

I went to Carmenere tonight with my family and a few friends. I've been before but not in the last few years. We all agreed it was our best meal of the trip so far. With 2 weeks to visit I like to make ever restaurant count and Carmenere is a not to be missed restaurant. From my wife's salad... read more

The best restaurant in Acapulco! We have been here twice this season and the beef is so tender you could eat with a fork. Francisco our waiter was the best, one of our party as celebrating her 80th birthday and Francisco provided cake etc.

Last year a friend of ours recommended the Carmenere. We went once last year before we left and we were very enthusiastic about the ambiance but especially about the food. So, this year as we spend 5 months in Acapulco, we've decided to go at least once a month. We invited a friend to join us for a nice supper... More

Carmenere does not have a view of the bay. It is beautiful inside: small and elegant. Views are forgotten when the food arrives. Delicious in every regard with service to match. Jose and Mayta have created a restaurant I would be proud to visit in NYC.

The great era of Acapulco is gone but some restaurants charge as if it were still in the top. This place is the exeption besides having a very careful international cuisine and the service is great. I spent fifteen days in Acapulco and went to dinner six times at each visit was better my experience. Excellent quality and price relationship.

What a wonderful experience. The owners, wait staff, et all are absolutely the best. the best filet mignon in Acapulco, try their Niso salad.....awakens every taste bud you have. We have eaten here many times and have not been disappointed. Great martini's, very nice ambiance. Try it, you will be very satisfied and happy!

We decided to treat ourselves to a "good" restaurant, and were not disappointed. The experience - from the classy decor to the attentive service (the smoker amongst us had her cigarette lit for her by an attentive waiter as we sat outside), to the superb food - was excellent. My lamb was the best I've ever tasted, just melted in... More

Oct 5, 2014 The Camerere is a great restaurant and we enjoy our Sunday dinner here. Don't pass this one up. Consistenly great food, winebar and full bar as well. We were happy to see the Carmenere still has the same great servers, wonderful menu and pleasant surroundings. La Buena Vida.

I had dinner here with some friends on my last visit to Acapulco. I was surprised that I had never found this place before. Great attention to detail, attentive service, good menu and very comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. I will be back.

This is my restaurant of choice in Acapulco. Excellent food, impeccable service and the bill doesn't take your breath away. Always go here whenever we want to eat out. Much better value that the over priced establishments on the Escenica.
