Goat and More!

If you are a goat eater, this is the place. If not, it is also "the place" for El Cabrito's has a fantastic bean soup and their mole is something special! It is casual and while in Aca, we often eat there a couple of times a week. Friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff and owners.

As I said in another review,I never have had a bad meal here in over 20 years.. It is very casual and inexpensive and the food and service is superb. They will also try to accommodate any special requests that they can.

I am not a big fan of goat my as I find it more sweet than I personally like BUT, the charcoal grilled Baby Goat is simply fantastic with just a hint of sweetness. We have had other menu items that were very good too but I have to say the Baby Goat is my #1 choice here.

El Cabrito is unassuming but the food is delicious and the service is very friendly. The pollo consome con cilantro was special. Great salsa and chips and very reasonable prices.

El Cabrito has a great staff with great food. I'm an annual visitor to Acapulco and I've been enjoying this restaurant for years. I'm always greeted well upon each return to this restaurant. The service is great. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The food is wonderful. I recommend the filet brochette, the tequila shrimp, the chicken paparillo (sp.), the... More

Very nice restaurant. went for lunch after Mass (Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus which is about 2 blocks on other side) Salad Mixta very big, lots of vegetables. We had Queso with flour tortillas and fresh Fish fillet with garlic sauce. Great drinks such as watermelon. Highly recommend, will come back! Next to Soriano Supermarket.

From the first time that we ate at El Cabrito we were hooked! In January 2007 we asked a local where we should go to have a real good meal.He said that if you like good fish and good meat or the best baby goat in town, then you must try El Cabrito. My wife Lucy also read about Cabrito on... More

They are famous for their mole and they didn't disappoint! Hubby & son had shrimp with garlic & shrimp diablo, loved it. Daughter had chicken flautas and chicken was dry etc -- don't order. Didn't try the goat that was hanging over the grill, they are famous for that too. Cute little place...good Mexican food, would recommend.

If you are in Acapulco and are sick of seafood. Give this place a whirl. The restaurant itself is unpretentious, but the food is great. Cabrito is juicy and fresh. Try the Mole Oaxaqueno. A real treat. Wash it down with a pina colada and you are set.
