Need to update the photo, as it does not matches with current location at La Isla shopping Mall. Never visited past location, seems much better to me. Good food, good service, waiters defenetely know what they are offering. Do not offer only the most expensive dish in the menu, as many other restaurants, Good for you!. My wife, teen girl... More

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Acapulco and I have dinned in it a few times. The place is built on top of a cliff and has a breathtaking view. It is a terrace with no glasses on the windows; this allows the sea breeze to flow through and gives you an undistorted view of the bay. You... More

This place has it all!! Amazing bay view, even better than Su Casa, with a semi outdoor dining experience that was exquisite! The waiters were not fluent in English, but the service was excellent and the menu was thorough. Even the pasta dishes were incredible! Great place for pictures and a more elegant night out!

We booked a table for 5 at Kookaburra on Saturday night. We had very good reviews about this restaurant some years ago. Unfortunately it has changed. For worst! Nothing to say about the view wich is fantastic. The service is just ok and they charge $3 ea. The menu is quite limited and it seems it hasn't changed in years.... More

We have eaten at this restaurant several times and always enjoyed the view and friendly staff. However on the last occasion in 2011 the night before we left for home after six weeks in Porta Marquis we enjoyed a lovely seafood dinner with friends and by two a.m. I had food poisoning so badly that our friends had to pack... I go to Acapulco every 5 or 6 weeks. I love to dine on the panoramic highway where the restaurants have a sensational view of the bay, more sensational at night when the lights around the bay make for a truly romantic setting. The food here is excellent if a bit pricey primarily because there is a cover charge per... More

We ate there on a weekday eve and had the whole place to ourselves. The view is stunning. Nice table overlooking the city. The food was OK. Have had better in Acapulco. The prices are high. Starting at $30USD/ plate. Also charged us $3USD for a small bottle of water. Also charged us $30USD ea for some "tax"; never saw... More

I've visited this Acapulco staple many times, most recently during my February 2013 vacation. Kookaburra has always been known for its spectacular view of Acapulco Bay. The international cuisine, from mouth-watering steaks to seafood, is great, but a bit expensive for what one gets. I heard from locals that Kookaburra might be moving to La Isla Shopping Center in the... More

The view is incredible. The atmosphere quite nice. The service exceptional. The menu is limited and is very taste specific.

The restaurant has a view to die for and a menu that's delicious. I think that the most memorable thing besides the food is the music playlist and since I'm a child of the 60's who grew up in the disco era, I thought it was hand-picked for my 50th birthday. Kookaburra was fun, festive and we enjoyed every bite... More
