Latino Japanese food

Peruvian and Japanese food fusion. The best are the Chilean fish and peruvian nigiris with a touch of Anticucho flavour. Always combine with a Sake, if you dont know one, ask for the non filtered sake "nigori", its sweet and a cloudy white color. No always have a fresh fish, ask for the best ones.

In general, good food, good drinks ( they know how to make a menjul !!!), not common in these times. Nice place, nice music, just an non relaxed atmosphere as it is a hip and pose prone place.

This place was a great surprise. I’ve been plenty of times in this city and usually try typical prime steak houses. However, Señor Tanaka was way above my expectations. Everything in the menu is great. I was a bit disappointed with the kushiage, but the rest of the menu was an extraordinary surprise. The location is great for having dinner... More

And for dessert a chocolate tray that was delicious !!!!! The Bar is very popular with a large array of fancy drinks ... I had wine and it was very good !!! ( if... More

When it comes to Japanese food I'm a bit picky. Tanaka offers nice food and services. However the food is a little bit customised for western taste. It's nothing to blame though considering I'm in Monterrey. So if you are looking for a Japanese restaurant in town, this is a great place to go.

Excellent food and service. The Martinis are delicious. Every plate is well executed and good portions. Like all the menu.

Good food, good ambient. Will be back. I think that food is a little bit overpriced but the location and the ambient of the place compensate for it.

This used to be a highly rated restaurant, but somewhere along the way, it seems to have lost its focus. The background music was so loud and jarring that it was impossible to have a conversation with our guests even when shouting. The ownership is obviously not familiar with the theories of Julian treasure and "soundscapes" as the music was... More

The restaurant is lit very low, so much so it is difficult to read the menu. The services wasn't bad, it simple didn't exist. Not once did any of the staff of over 8 waiters ever ask how was I doing, how was my meal and if there was anything else I needed. All three times I asked for something... More
