The best steaks, the best service, the best overall. Our taxi driver suggested this place, the other place we picked was closed, so we gave it a try. Wow, walking into the restaurant, I knew we were in for a treat. The place was packed, on a Wednesday!!! Full of laughter, families, parties, couples, everybody is here. We were seated... More

This place is a landmark in Monterrey, it's been there for quite a few years now and it only seems that it gets better. Everything is delicious here and it has great service.

Very good restaurant on Monterrey. Large portions of very good beef. Take a taxi if you do not know Monterrey. Ribeye is the best.

Good food, ask for the house salad. The dressing is tasty. Order also some empanadas. I recommend the ones with corn and cheese. If you're gonna celebrate something, book a table in advance or prepare yourself to wait hours.

I took a look at Trip Advisor, as usual, I wanted a good steak in Monterrey and up came this restaurant. Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed with the environment and decoration - several TVs showing a football game and some passionate fans cheering for their team. I ordered empanada and filete a parrilla. Delicious. Well served, the dishes have... More

Quality has been better thru years, has become pricy and you need reservation preferably. Still great place to eat specially the cheese salad , the best I have ever tried.

If you are in Monterrey and are looking for a superior meal, El Gaucho is not one to be missed! The beef is of the highest quality and is served in the tradition of the Argentinean cowboys who ride the Pampas and work up a hearty appitite. Even the most hungry diner will have a difficult time finishing off the... More

The place is really nice, altough it does get packed at supper time (1:00-3:00pm) so it is kind of hard to get a parking spot around those hours, however the food is worth the wait. We ordered "empanadas" and "atropellado" which is beef jerky cooked with tomato and spices for starters and they were great and cooked to perfection We... More

absolutely delicious food starting from fried cheese with soft tortillas to salads and big fish served with beer or wine as per you liking. Wine bottle would be kept on the table itself for your selection and preference. Serve almost all kinda beer available in Monterrey :-) Too good fish dish - big ones even if you order small one....
