Wonderful place!

I have bee to this place joining a party of 4 persons. I was astonished to see this place absolutely packed at 3pm! The guests seem to be mostly of the upper class society, considering the fact that you easily can spend a mexican monthly minimum salary on one meal. However I have to admit, that I... read more

Soleky based on the quality of the food, this restaurant deserves 6 stars. The fresh tuna ceviche was scrumptious with fresh mango, herbs, lime, and juicy goodness. We ordered 3 large Rib eyes 2 with salt only and 1with chilli. By far, the best beef in Monterrey. The service was very good, although casual. The waiter assumed everyone was familar... More

I'm a foodie but not fluent in Spanish. Nacional was kind enough to walk me through the menu and help me brush up on my language skills. Most importantly, food was fantastic. We ordered the salted filet (the best!) and piglet (great idea for home cooking). Fresh, generous portions. Thank you, Arturo and Julio! We'll come back.

Had dinner here with some friends on a work trip. Had not been here since 2012 and it was better than I remembered. We started with the tuetano and it was wonderful. The sea salt ribeye along with the octopus were terrific. Dessert for me was a glass of 43 with an espresso mixed with ice. Everything was great. Didn't... More

La Nacional serves outstanding Mexican food with a Northern touch. The menu is not broad but selective and any dish you order is fantastically prepared using the freshest ingredients. The ribeye with salt is mouth-watering. Other dishes worth trying are cauliflower, tuna ceviche and the cheesecake.

Excellent food. From the roasted vegetables, including their signature grilled artichoke, to the great assortment of beef cuts, this restaurant is a must for foreign travellers to visit. During weekdays the clientele is mostly business people. However is also a great place to visit with family. The service is great too. They go out of their way to make you... More

Good food, good service. Octopus was tasty, fish was ok, starters were good. Very packed at lunchtime and noisy, service was friendly and attentive.

I've been in this place several times and always liked what I had. The courses selection is small, but very good. The service is good and the price goes together with the quality of the place. Still, worth visiting.

This is by far the best restaurant in Monterrey. We've been to every steak house around and by far this is the most delicious. Hard to explain, you must try it for yourself. Favorite dishes: Ribeye al Piquin, Pulpo Zarandeado, Queso Quemado, Tuetanos, and you must have the Atun en Mango Habanero.

Try the ribeye aguachile. Delicious meat, good mezcal and fabulous service. The place is classy, nicely decorated and you dont feel in a fancy place.
