El Granero is an EXCELLENT choice when visiting Monterrey. Their main fare is steaks and "Cabrito" (roasted suckling goat), but they also have other more traditional dishes. It is a good example of the Northern Mexican food, mostly based on meat. I always keep it simple: start off with a huge bowl of Guacamole (delicious), maybe a melted cheese with... More

Have been multiple times to the restaurant and always had excellent food, the service is superb, I think the best service I have received in any restaurant in the world, the staff is friendly and they know their business, my favorite dish is the cabrito en salsa but sometimes prefer the costillas de rib eye. The best of Monterrey

This restaurant is well located, the room is nice and the piano player creates a good mood at the dinner. The starters are ok!..... But what justify my review is the main dishes!..... I was expecting something a lot better, since it was recommended to me as a very good restaurant. The menus should be reduced!.... Literally, not the number... More

Thin is a nice opción for aún Aniversary dinner. I love this place, the medallones a las tres pimientas, a meat plate, is the best Everest try. Highly recomended. Enjoy!

If you love meat, this is the place that you cannot miss if you are in Monterrey. The service is very good (there is valet parking service, since it is difficult to find parking in the area). All dishes are tasty, meat is fresh. I always look for a good dessert after a good meal, they have a good variety... More

One of the nice restaurants in town. Is a must if you want to have a very good lunch or dinner. Reservations are suggested. Ask for tables close to the window. Those are the best. Be aware that smoking is allowed in main room.

If you happen to be in Monterrey, around the San Pedro area, you can't go wrong with El Granero. Great variety of traditional mexican and international dishes, good ambience, excellent service and food quality. A bit expensive though if you need an everyday restaurant...otherwise fantastic!

El Granero has been offering fantastic meals with amazing service for years. Everything from beef to seafood (and even their sushi) is to die for! As everyone else mentions, this is he place for power lunch and a great option for dinner. Reservations are suggested, El Granero's fame is amazing. A must.

Very good food, very attentive service, nice ambiance, very easy location to access and a great reputation over many years of operation. Lot of interesting and tasty menu choices. The Calzada 401 shopping center is located to the immediate east. This is a place for "power" lunches and dinners, with a lot of important business people to be seen having... More

Food and service are really good, this restaurant is one Monterrey classics. Try the "Carnitas de Rib Eye" a Mexican way to deep fry a nice piece of superb meat, that dish is fantastic and you can not find it everywhere. Enjoy, but be prepared with the bill!
