Seafood is super fishy

Party of 5 only 2 of the meals were edible. Pizza was delicious. Tuna was nasty. Others at the table could smell it from where they were sitting. Seafood pasta super fishy. Even the pasta tasted like old fish. Seafood chowder was okay. Chairs uncomfortable. Tough time getting our... read more

Incredible meal in a chill location. Just tell the chef (Danny) or the waiter (son Dominic) what you're in the mood for and they make suggestions or make something special. High quality ingredients with fresh fish daily.

I went to Santo Vino for my 30th birthday with my fiance. I am vegan and my fiance is vegetarian so we always check ahead to make sure we can be catered for. Danny was quick to respond via email and let me know he would do something special. When we arrived, he had prepared a special 5 course menu,... More

This charming little eatery tucked in beside the Hotel California served up some nice things. Four of us enjoyed a perfectly grilled piece of fish, a pasta loaded with sea food, tuna sashimi, and a coconut curried seafood dish. Excellent wine list that leans heavily on the exquisite Baja wines. A great desert "sampler" plate - big enough for four.... More

We thoroughly enjoyed an evening of dining at Santo Vino. Great wine selection and interesting and delicious spins on dishes you thought you knew. A very popular place, so plan ahead

Celebrated my birthday here with 5 friends and was thrilled with every aspect. The atmosphere is quaint, although maybe a little loud, as there is not much "internal insulation" and the sound bounces around. The food is fresh and unique and Danny is a perfect host. Thanks so much for making our evening special

I have been coming here pretty regularly for the past several weeks and can't recommend Danny's cooking and the restaurant highly enough - I stick with the ribs and artichoke appetizers but also had a lovely Thanksgiving turkey dinner here and all have been really tasty, subtle and great service as well, including the chef's personable manner with all of... We had the perfect experience at Santo Vino. The wait staff are very professional, friendly and good natured. The fact that they specialized in offering Mexican wines was my initial draw, I had always wanted to try them. Eric (at the wine bar) proved to be VERY familiar with each winery and offered detailed information and excellent recommendations. A great... More

Eating at Santo Vino is not just dining - it's a dining experience. The atmosphere is intimate and exotic. The wait staff are efficient and Chef Dany gives you personal attention. He will help you with your selection of both food and wine and will sometimes surprise you with a special dessert. The wines are all Mexican wines and the... More

We absolutely love Santo Vino, and Chef Dany's creations. On our most recent visit we enjoyed two appetizers - the sashimi tuna, and the spicy peppers stuffed with crab & cheese. Both dishes were wonderful. Our main courses were the Baja Seafood Stew, and the Seafood Penne in a cream sauce - and again, both dishes were absolutely perfect, loaded... More
