Delicious Dining Gem

Great location adjacent to Hotel California. We had a sampling of small plates and all were excellent. We especially enjoyed the stuffed peppers and the ribs. Also had great drinks including a selection of bottled Baja Brewing beers. Chef Danny even stopped by to greet us.

We had an excellent meal at this restaurant. I ordered the stuffed chiles with goat cheese. They were almost too hot to eat, but that was the only off selection. The Sea Bass was prepared perfectly for me. The margaritas were strong and worth the cost. Others in our group had excellent meals too. Next to Cafe Santa Fe, it's... More

My girlfriends booked this restaurant for my 50th birthday dinner. Since there were 7 of us, they seated us in the side room. We had our own private dinner in the wine room by candlelight. It was a great atmosphere and we had first-class service. The food, wine and entire experience was so memorable for all of us. And the... More

Had a world class meal. Don't miss the cocktails. So good that we snuck in a 2nd meal before we left :) The menu is rooted in regional flavors prepared from fresh/seasonal ingredients. This meal could hold its own with any of our favorite spots in San Francisco. This small bistro style restaurant seems to be the passion project of... More

We have been dining here for many years and always have a great experience because of the delicious food, personal service and attention. This time however, we just arrived in town and I had not been to the ATM for pesos, so I paid by credit card. Big mistake! Don't know exactly what happened, but the final charge on my... More

It's been three years since I last reviewed Santo Vino..and I've dined there many evenings during that time. It's summer now, so the town is kind of empty, but it was so great to see Chef Dany is open and going strong. He gave us personal attention and we were thrilled with everything we had. Deliciously fresh organic green salad... More

Dany is the perfect host. He has a good knowledge of wine and carefully explained each one as we were tasting, to decide on which one we wanted. The food is great...creative and beautifully plated. We were having such a good time that we lingered way longer than normal, but Dany was totally cool with it. I highly recommend Santo... More

We quickly learned to consult directly with chef Danny. He is creative and talented! We expressed that we wanted fresh, local and only mildly spicy food. He thought for a minute and asked a few follow up questions and proceeded to feed us fabulous food!!! I went back 5 times in 2 weeks - at least. The selection and depth... More

Don't miss it--a private class from 11-2 with Chef Denis. Delicious, educational, and above all fun.
