Excellent Lobster with Pesto, service was attentive. As part of Guaycura Boutique hotel really recommendable.
Perfect mojitos and margaritas on the roof deck at sunset with delicious tapas is the best way in Todos Santos to take in the oasis. Breathtaking. I was a guest at the hotel and had opportunity to try at least one breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the restaurant downstairs. Except for variety sake, there was no real reason to go... More
Debated on a 4 rating, but the restaurant downstairs fell short. The place is gorgeous. There is an elevator to the top, which is 5+!!! My nearly 90 year old Ma would not have been able to enjoy a margarita and sunset view if there weren't an elevator. No matter what, you have to go to the top. The dining... More
Food is not cheap in Todos Santos (or Cabo San Lucas or San Jose del Cabo, for that matter), even though it's Mexico. However, in most restaurants in the area the quantity of food is generally adequate, but it's not at Guaycura. For lunch, I had an excellent small bowl of gazpacho, followed by a minuscule salad plate. The price... More
I truly dug the Guaycura rooftop happy hour. It's a little pricey, and service was slow but the quality of the tapas and beverages was great and who is in a hurry at happy hour. Head here just before sunset for a spectacular view. Buddha bar grooves on the stereo, a super-cute and friendly server, decent martini and comfy patio... More
I came to this restaurant a year ago and the year before that, the service was excellent and the food was traditional with an exceptional touch. This time I was SO disappointed. Maybe because I knew what it was before. The orange juice we were told was fresh tasted like fresh juice mixed with tang, not delicious like I've been... More
I had reservations for my family, to enjoy appetizers and drinks on the rooftop terrace, to be followed with our main courses and desserts in the main dining room downstairs. This was a very special occasion for my husband's 60th birthday. First - making the reservation from the U.S. via email proved to be so difficult that I gave up... More
My wife and I stopped in for lunch and decided to try a salad. While both salads were works of art they were just okay in taste. The service was good, but we were the only diners in the entire place. They do accept credit cards. We would like to try the place again for dinner.
The view is nice but I fell like we really got ripped off. We went to the roof top deck to see the sunset have drinks and food. Upon arrival we asked our server about the price of house wines by the glass. He said about 18 or 19 pesos per glass (his English was perfect). We ordered. 2 glasses... More
We stopped by for sunset drinks and an appetizer. The tacos were very good and the sunset was fantastic. It was a great way to welcome the evening in.
