To put this review in perspective, I first ate at Cafe Santa Fe about 20 years ago and back then finding a good Northern Italian ristorante in Todos was exquisite. Fast forward, having dined at CSF 3-4 times over the last 5 years, including recently, I have promised myself not to go back. And, having reviewed many of the more... More

Serendipitously discovering this town and restaurant from an overheard conversation, we have been here numerous times and always enjoyed the experience. The rather mundane, long stucco wall facade of the restaurant belies the small, colonial Mexico looking entrance and interior which opens up into a beautiful garden in the back with nicely landscaped arbors, tables and chairs for al fresco... As a part time resident I have eaten at this restaurant over 30 times in the last 10 years. From the first to the last I have always had a wonderful experience. Is it expensive, yes very, are the portions large enough so that everything, including the salad and appetizers, yes indeed. The ingredients are always fresh, the service friendly and... More

This is an overpriced, overrated eatery with pretensions of grandeur. The northern Italian cuisine is beautiful on the menu but less so on the table. Take a large wad of cash; you'll need it.

This is what I call a yuppy restaurant. If you want black squid ink pasta this place is your cup of tea. If you like your bread served with vinegar and oil in lieu of butter you'll love this place. Get a bank loan before you eat here. You'll need it.

Another great restaurant in Todos Santos that will not disappoint, with a lovely patio outside and great service. I came with a group for business, so our meal was preselected and pre-paid; I did not check pricing, but can attest to the good quality of the food, very fresh, nicely prepared.

Beautiful and pricey. A surprisingly spa, temple-like environment that you walk into off the church and town plaza. A Mexican Colonial Style Surprise. But the servers were kind and excellent and the Lobster Ravioli was to die for. The Sage Butter Ravioli was also killer. I can taste it in my dreams.

I agree with many of the reviews posted, a very fine restaurant, though trendy and relatively over priced. If you want to be in a chique and trendy place, go for it. Great food. However if being seen at the "right place", and paying twice the price of comparable restaurants in town isn't your thing, just go around the corner,... More

Wasn't looking for Italian, but ended up here and had a good meal in the lovely garden area. Very attentive, but not hovering, service. On the expensive end.

This is a super Italian style restaurant with super appetizers, a great wine list and excellent entrée choices. I had the caprice salad with shrimps and calamari as a starter. Then main course fresh Tuna rare which was just outstanding. You want gourmet eating this is the place. Everything was done just right to perfection. The service was special. My... More
