I enjoyed dinner at El Potrero. We went based upon the suggestion from the front desk of the Marriott just down the street. I felt the service was great, they probably overdid it because they saw we are American. The manager came over to speak with us and offered a shot of Tequila on the house, which was very generous.... Service wasn't the best as we had some hot shot politician next to us and all the waiters were concentrated on that table. Breakfast was good though, nice hearty mexican breafast, had the Huevos Rancheros! Ok option!

This place is bad in service, bad in food. For the fist time the reviews I read mislead me to this place. I was really dissatisfied with the super slow service, not only the service is bad but the food is poor and overpriced. I arrived at this place at around seven for dinner, ordered drinks and had to ask... More

We recently visited this restaurant and was more than pleasantly surprised with their breakfast offerings. A must try is the "cafe el potrero" it is delicious and you don't even need sugar because of the perfect balance in flavors. We tried several dishes and all were yummy! I had the chilorio ( shredded pork with spices and onions/peppers) accompanied with... More

The Family and I have been coming here for years! Great, quiet, restaurant that has delicious food. The dinners are good, but for me, the appeal is the breakfast menu. I usually order the steak and eggs and its not only deliciously filling, its inexpensive! The atmosphere and mood are dark and cozy- Try the "café de la holla". Its... More

Potrero has excellent Mexican and international food, very good service, an ample menu, clean, varied drinks, overall this is a great place if you're looking for authentic Mexican food.

I really loved this place! We were actually just passing by, and it seemed interesting. We decided to give it a try and it was a great experience! We manager received us at the door, and made a few jokes, made us feel welcomed, and the food was amazing, the meat was very tender! It was a great experience and... More

When my friends come to visit, we always take them here. We have never been disappointed. My wife loves the Nopalas salad and I love the steaks. My friends love Mexican food and they really like the flavors here. We eat here about once per month. Highly recommend.
