El Potrero is my favorite breakfast spot in Tijuana. It is an attractive, upscale restaurant with an ambiance and attitude that has you feeling right at home as soon as you enter the door. It is staffed with professional wait-staff serving delicious and copious amounts of food. I do not know about other mornings, but on Sunday mornings a mariachi... More

Food was OK service was a little slow and had some language barriers. There was one person who spoke a little English but this is to be expected. Next time my Spanish will be far better as I practice and embrace Spanish

The service is very good, I would definitely suggest to try the Carne asada burrito, you will love it, by the way it's a BIG one!

So I must have driven by this place a half-dozen times on my way to the doctor out in La Mesa (and even walked back once so the anesthesia would wear off!) - and I never saw a huge sombrero just off the boulevard! Only during a night search for Hotel El Conquistador on my last trip did my pal... More

I believe we visited this restaurant a total of 3 times when we stayed in Tijuana. It seemed that we were always being drawn back here for the great food and their willingness to accommodate large groups. One great feature is that they would cook you any Mexican dish you wanted whether on the menu or not..

If you find yourself in this part of Tijuana, El Potrero is a must go to. I have traveled to many places around the world and I don't prefer 5 star dinning. This place has 5 star food and service with a down home feeling the staff is very welcoming and courteous. The price for quality and quantity of food... More

I enjoyed dinner at El Potrero. We went based upon the suggestion from the front desk of the Marriott just down the street. I felt the service was great, they probably overdid it because they saw we are American. The manager came over to speak with us and offered a shot of Tequila on the house, which was very generous.... Service wasn't the best as we had some hot shot politician next to us and all the waiters were concentrated on that table. Breakfast was good though, nice hearty mexican breafast, had the Huevos Rancheros! Ok option!
