A guest and I enjoyed nice lunch today on day trip from San Diego, my second visit with no disappointments. My guest enjoyed her introductory visit and we both highly recommend this restaurant. Food is excellent, wonderful attentive service, entrance door opened before you notice staff waiting with smiles and pleasant greetings. Reasonable priced, valet parking and we felt like... More

The place is very nice, there's limited parking, but valet does the trick. Service is good, food is average at best. Not your best choice for Mexican food.

Sabor a Mi is connected with Villa Marina [often you will see waiters pass from one to the other]. The valet up front is efficient and convenient, and locals like to come here after Mass on Sunday. Keep in mind it is a busy and noisy environment, with many children, The large posters on the wall of Mexican movie stars... More

Determined to try new restaurants in TJ we walked from Lucerna to the restaurant. Large, modern and clean. The only upscale restaurant I've visited with a playland for the kids!! I think it was even supervised by the restaurant. The menu featured a braod selection of standard Mexican food favorites. The preparation was excellent. Superior sauces and salsas. Oridinary items... What a wonderful find in Tijuana, a friend of mine who is from Tijuana told me that his mother had highly recommended this place. So we decided to give it a try this past week. We ate here Friday evening and the following Tuesday evening. Everything we had here was absolutely delicious. The grilled octopus served over rice cooked in... More

Disappointed to find out that after just seven months in operation the really interesting items on the menu some reviewers were able to enjoy (grasshoppers, ant eggs, huitlacoche, etc.) have been removed from the menu for lack of interest. Apparently they weren't selling! What remains is pretty much what's available just about anywhere else. However, there are some exceptions worth... More

Nothing about this place impressed me. The food was OK, the service was OK, the atmosphere tries to be hip with an old Mexican movies' theme and photos of the most famous Mexican movie stars

I brought my husband for his birthday, he had just discovered this restaurant and being a chef himself, he was initially impressed. Well let me tell the food was delicious, the service beyond excellent. Even though it serves some traditional dishes they were interesting with their different presentation. I recommend this restaurant to everyone and anyone interested in eating deliciously,... More
