Excellent ambiance, good service. Aggressive combination of flavors but they do an excellent job of hitting it on the mark. Not cheap but an excellent choice to take a customer or to celebrate a special occasion. Have been there several times and I am yet to be disappointed. Could have more choice in the menu. I would suggest greater selection... More

Been here twice, it's always a treat. Growing up in San Diego, Tijuana is often seen as a sketchy place, but this restaurant demonstrates that Tijuana is growing and changing. I think of the food here as featuring a lot of umami, earthy flavors. Last trip here, I had the tuna tartar, which is really flavorful. I really liked the... More

One word: WOW! Loved everything about this place. The food was just sublime... I definitely recommend the 5 course tasting menu. The service is great, the location is perfect (5 min drive from the border). If you really like to try new things but don't like being disappointed... You need to come to Mision 19. Pronto!

A great fine dining restaurant. The ambience is great. Food taste is excellent. The choice of breads they have as starters is also great.

The restaurant is a very contemporary designed place with some touches of the Baja culture. We ordered the 6 courses meal and love them all. They start with the " parfait de callo de hacha" that was a fresh and tasty appetizer, next comes "pulpo al carbon" exquisite and very well presented, "lomo de cochinillo" is a delight, they present... This is a treasure. It is one of the best dinners i have ever had. The food is FANTASTIC. I have eaten here many times and the food is outstanding every time. Service is great. They even have a shuttle from the US border to the restaurant and back. You MUST try this restaurant. I need to go back again.... More

Usually everything is perfect, in this occasion service was extreamly slow and had to tell the waiter, one dish tablitas (beef) was overcooked and had to ask for another.

We go to Tijuana or Tecate often to dine, because the food is usually far superior to what we find in San Diego. We had read the rave reviews of Mision 19, enjoyed Saveirio's and Romesco, so went with high expectations--which were dashed. I will say drinks and wine were exemplary; I thought the appetizers were delish, altho hub thought... More
