sophisticated decor and food

The restaurant is really on the next block to the east. tantalizing dishes for the sophisticated palate. I had the risotto with huitlacoche, something I'd been wanting to taste -- loved it! I was eager to try the cuisine of the reknown chef plascencia, and was not at all disappointed. It fits the category as one of the best restaurants I have been to in Mexico

This has been one of my favorite places to eat for a while. Not only in Tijuana, but in SoCal in general. The pre-fixe menu is a sure fire way to get a taste of all the menu's fresh delights! The bone marrow is out of this world as are the oysters! I really cannot say enough about Mission 19,... More

Honestly one fo the best restaurant experiences I've ever had, in the most unlikely of places. I've eaten at Michelin-starred restaurants, and I would heartily recommend Mision 19 for one. Hidden away somewhat, away from the hustle and bustle, the venue itself was the epitome of cool, all clean lines and stark colours. Lovely setting. Staff were great, attempting to... More

Great food, excellent presentation, very good service, secure parking in a parking garage, good view towards the west at sunset....large private room for groups of at least ten.....this is far and away in our opinion the best restaurant in Tijuana. Very modern decor. The restaurant is not that large, so you might want to consider reservations. The restaurant is located... More

By far one of the best restaurant experiences in Baja! In the Zona Río of Tijuana this place has incredible ingredients, presentation, service, execution mixed with really cool local flavors and style. Top notch restaurant.

Safe, secure, easy to find...And then the dining experience..... Food was fresh, creative, flavorful and had a nice presentation. Service was good, not great but certainly didn't detract from the meal. We shared appetizers and desserts and each had a main dish and NOBODY was disappointed! With an easy 10 minute border wait heading back, this dining experience should be... More

i have had many extravaganza lunches with my beloved Louise in NYC, after retirement took couple vacations to Edinburgh (glorious city), lived in NO, many business trips to San Francisco and i think this is one of the best restaurants in the world. The way everything is assembled brought to the table is pretty impressive and intensely flavorful. i may... More

First of all, the atmosphere is very chic and industrial but the service is lousy. When I arrived the hostess insisted we wait for a table because we didn't have a reservation. We got there at 4:30 pm and waited for 20 minutes, even thou the restaurant was completely empty. The menu is very limited consisting of only 2 pages.... More

If you want to impress a date then bring her here. It is upscale and expensive for Tijuana. The service is exceptional but the food good be better. We started by having the Pulpo Al Carbon $155 pesos(Octopus on the Grill). It was well presented but the portions was small (as expected for a place like this) and the taste... More
