One word: WOW! Loved everything about this place. The food was just sublime... I definitely recommend the 5 course tasting menu. The service is great, the location is perfect (5 min drive from the border). If you really like to try new things but don't like being disappointed... You need to come to Mision 19. Pronto!

A great fine dining restaurant. The ambience is great. Food taste is excellent. The choice of breads they have as starters is also great.

The restaurant is a very contemporary designed place with some touches of the Baja culture. We ordered the 6 courses meal and love them all. They start with the " parfait de callo de hacha" that was a fresh and tasty appetizer, next comes "pulpo al carbon" exquisite and very well presented, "lomo de cochinillo" is a delight, they present... This is a treasure. It is one of the best dinners i have ever had. The food is FANTASTIC. I have eaten here many times and the food is outstanding every time. Service is great. They even have a shuttle from the US border to the restaurant and back. You MUST try this restaurant. I need to go back again.... More

Usually everything is perfect, in this occasion service was extreamly slow and had to tell the waiter, one dish tablitas (beef) was overcooked and had to ask for another.

We go to Tijuana or Tecate often to dine, because the food is usually far superior to what we find in San Diego. We had read the rave reviews of Mision 19, enjoyed Saveirio's and Romesco, so went with high expectations--which were dashed. I will say drinks and wine were exemplary; I thought the appetizers were delish, altho hub thought... More

I spent a quick weekend in TJ with my wife & friends, specifically to try dinner here but it is an easy trip from the border and an American can easily go down and back in an evening (though we do have Sentri passes). The setting, in an office building, is modern industrial, but still comfortable. The service was spot... More

So my business partner was down from Canada and heard great things about this restaurant. He mentioned he wanted to try it since he was so close to TJ. I told him that it's a LONG ordeal crossing the border back without SENTRI. (He didn't have Sentri). He wanted to go and no talking him out of it so we... More
