Great Experience!

My boyfriend wanted to have his birthday lunch here. The food was excellent--steak, fish, salad, cold beers on a warm day. The service was excellent and atmosphere relaxing. The architecture of the building is a work of art.

Had a great dinner at Mision 19. Local wines by the glass, delicious appetizers ( we had grilled oysters and tuna tartare) and inventive and satisfying entrees. Hubby had duck and I had catch of the day, which was grouper. They have English-language menus if needed . Before-dinner cocktails were good, but we kicked ourselves that we didn't have fine... we decided to travel across the mexican border into Tijuana for lunch on a saturday, we had heard of this restaurant called mision 19 in what is now being referred to as the culinary zone of TJ. What an experience not only crossing over by foot and navigating the locals but finding such a gem tucked away on a street... More

I went to Mision 19 last Thursday and this is seriously one of the best meals I had in ages! the service was pretty good and my server Rodolfo was very knowledgeable and explain every course I ate that night, I had the 6 course classic, simply amazing! I also had one of their martinis, the tamarind one, and it... More

Nice to see Tijuana developing a superior culinary experience. World class restaurant. Really enjoyed the local food and wine, and the bread plate was the best I've seen. If only crossing back into the US wasn't such a hassle.

Not your typical Tijuana restaurant! A little off the beaten track but not far from the border. We went for a late lunch. Atmosphere was industrial chic and nicely done. This is definitely a dining experience so plan accordingly. Service was suburb and not pretentious. Food was truly wonderful. Certainly on par or better than most good restaurants in San... More

I'm mexican and this plates are a beautiful way to recreate all the classic and favorite recipes Mexican grandmas will cook for us at any given Sunday. They have all the flavor, yet they are served impeccable, I'm glad there are restaurants like this, that incorporate the best of the tradition. The pork was perfectly cooked and the seasoning was... We have been to mission 19 on previous occasions. The food has always been delicious. The service however varies like day and night from the different servers. Should you happen to come please be advised that Alejandro is the worst server in the restaurant. He does not know the menu very well and does not pay attention to your order.... More

Lovely, ultra modern restaurant in Tijuana. Located on the 2nd floor of an office building. Free underground parking. Ten minute ride by taxi. The food is beautifully plated, plentiful and delicious. Definitely in the gourmet category. Service was attentive, but slow. Worth the wait. I would not take children here.

My friend and I drove from San Diego into TJ to lunch at one of the top rated restaurants in all of Latin America. If you go the the website just know that the video makes the trip from the border longer and more comlicated than it really is. We stated with one of the in house mixology cocktails..no complaints...
