I was in Tijuana only one day for a business trip, after visited my client there, we went to Los Remedios for late lunch, it was like 3 PM in the afternoon. My Mexican friend told me that this is one of the good restaurant in Tijuana. So we had the lunch there, I like the decoration and the ambience.... More

Went to Los Remedios on our first night in Tijuana mainly because it was the closest place to our hotel. Not bad, especially the guacamole, although not much on the menu for vegetarians. The entertainment, although a bit loud, was fun. Not too much sports on TV until the football match came on and all the Mexican patrons had to... More

I have been to Los Remedios two times. Both for lunch. I like the atmosphere inside and the back deck is great when there is a good breeze. The food is very good and there is a lot to choose from. We even ordered off menu! I will certainly go back.

I visited the restaurant whilst staying in southern San Diego on vacation with family. We wanted an authentic Mexican experience and were not disappointed. We walked across the pedestrian border crossing at Otay Mesa and took a taxi for $15 directly to the restaurant. On arrival we were welcomed and taken to our table; no booking was necessary but the... More

I went today as this place had good reviews. I was looking for the Mexican old world atmosphere, Mariachis etc. they had about 10 tvs blaring a game. It was so loud there wasn't a place to sit and have a conversation. They showed us to an outdoor seating overlooking noisy traffic. Quite a distance from downtown. The menu was... More

Fun and loud atmosphere filled with live music and happy people. It's a classy, high-end fiesta! The decor is rich with style and culture. All ages were there (but probably too loud for babies or very elderly). The food was great. They bring you 2 drinks at a time and each table has its own beer bucket. If this sounds... More

Los Remedios is located in a large, bright yellow building located smack on the third Glorietta [traffic circle] on Paseo de los Heroes [the actual address is on the side street, Diego Rivera]. There is valet parking, but their driveway is so rough I wasn't sure I was in the right place, but then the valet appeared so all was... More

There are many restaurants in Tijuana, but this place really takes you back in time and offers 100% Mexican dishes. Place is well decorated with Mexican ornaments, posters, banners, signs; has a big cantina bar, where shelfs are stocked with the best tequilas from Mexico. Now lets talk about the food. There are many options to choose from, beef, pork... More

Los Remedios recently changed their menu and added a few more dishes. However their main stay is the parrilladas aka mini grills and the molcajetes. These are dishes served in woodstone type bowls that are steaming hot. My fav is the the one with steak and shrimp, it comes with home-made tortillas and black beans. They also have happy hour...
