The birth place of the real "Ceasar Salad"

My friend told me this was the birth place of the ceasar salad. I didn't have on that day but no doubt it was popular with all the people there on that night. The ambiance is very enjoyable. Somehow you feel like you traveled back in time. The service is very courteous and efficient. The food... read more

Excellent way to travel to the culinary origin of the new and great present of the Baja cuisine. You will be for a great surprise if you appreciate tasteful and fine dishes.

Went to the restaurant about 3 p.m., we went with my political family for lunch before driving back to Arizona, our service was very amicable and it was nice talking to him, the problem was that he was never there to talk to or order anything. The Ceasar's Salad made tableside was very good, but other than that, there was... More

Caesar's is classy without being pretentious. The service is excellent and the food even better! After two visits, I seriously believe that you can't go wrong in whatever you choose. And yes, you must have the Caesar salad, which you can share. Two side notes: this is now owned by Javier Plascencia and they have valet parking.

This place is an oasis amongst the farmacias, souvenir shops and hustlers. TOns of ambience, with outdoor terrace with glass wall and plant pots and signs etc to keep away gawkers, and the indoor part wit classic bar and tables. Linen tableclothes, and the service is excellent, with uniformed waiters. Of course, you must try the Caesar salad, spun at... More

In downtown Tijuana, perhaps the last tablecloth restaurant, and probably the oldest. and lays claim to creating the Caesar salad. Old school service, with vintage photographs covering the walls and hammered brass cappucino makers. Visit for nostalgia, but also for the food - great calamari, bone marrow, and yes, Caesar salad. Have a little Mexican wine from San Tomas, and... More

The Caesar's salad was 'invented' at Caesar's restaurant. It is a must for any first visit to this restaurant. The salad will be prepared at your table with considerable flair. It is definitely one of the tastiest Caesar salads my wife and I have ever had. If you like sardine paste, it will be in the salad and a large... More

A fine place to be to watch Tijuana's version of Halloween and then experience the Day of the Dead--wonderful continental cuisine, amazing service, and I always need my Cuban rum and coke!

I liked everything they had. Fine dining, reasonably priced, fantastic service, fantastic food, and offered a great variety of dishes. Whether appetizers, main courses, or desserts, the flavors were outstanding. The live music was great, and I recommend you visit this place for a great overall experience.
