Whenever I'm in Rosarito and have the time, I make a point of stopping by El Nido for a little something to eat so I can enjoy homemade tortillas that are cooked on an iron pan over a real fire, and some of the fresh meat delivered from their ranch in Baja Sur. Unique decor and great service make it... More

When you walk in you can smell the mesquite and are welcomed by an attentively by the restaurant's staff. We were a group of seven and were seated in a round room surrounded by plants. The atmosphere was amazing. The food menu was a selection of steaks (recommended by one of our team), chicken, quail, etc. I enjoyed the quail... More

From the second I walked in I loved it. The brick walls and hanging plants really give you the feeling that you are tucked in the trees or at least in a quaint garden. There are fresh tortillas made int he main eating area-the kids loved watching the process and getting fresh ones hot off the grill. It is an... More

From the main street of Rosarito, so this place is very well placed. Once you walk in, you forget you're on Rosarito and are transported to a very rustic place (reminds me of Rainforest Cafe but way more organic, less plastic-ky and, in the morning at least, with more natural lighting). Service was good and speedy. Went there around 9... More

The decoration of the place is very good, no doubt about it, the quality of the food is also good, but the price is to high, for less you can have the same quality and more flavor in other places in rosarito

The food wasn't amazing, but it wasn't bad either. The best thing about this restaurant is the décor. There are a lot of plants and water features. In the colder months they light the fires inside so it is nice and cozy. It was a fun family dinner. Mexican dishes are cheap (less than $10) while seafood and steaks range... More

El Nido is a lovely, rustic steak house that you can smell from about a block away...the scent of oak smoke is heavenly! The various rooms are decorated to give an outdoor feel to an indoor facility with hundreds of green plants, water walls, and lots of ambient light. There is a cozy bar and each of the rooms we... El Nido has been around for a long time. The food and the atmosphere are of typical Mexican traditional. The exquisite meals along the exotic drinks are a must for anyone who visits Rosarito.

We didn't make a reservation and showed up on Christmas night and they seated us right away. The woman making home made tortillas is always a welcoming sight - they were delish by the way. The venison steak was overpriced but tasty. The bean soup that comes before dinner is super tasty and I thought the service was wonderful. The... More

My husband and I had been living in Rosarito for a few months and had been meaning to try El Nido because we live close to it. it was a very surprising experience and needless to say, a BAD one. First thing when we walk in, the hostess just stands there and doesn't greet us so we stand there looking... More
