This was our las dinner in Loreto. Ribs for hubby and seafood for me! Started with jalapeño poppers....great! Followed by chocolate clam chowder, the best I've had anywhere. The I had the paiea with chocolate clams, shrimp, and scallops, hubby had the ribs. Great and worth it! Very attentive staff and the margaritas are the best in Loreto!!! There is... More

Wife and I were in Loreto to experience this beautiful town on our 20th anniversary and stumbled into this gem next to the Mission square. Beautiful garden tables, great service and food that had us telling everyone we met on our vacation about. We had the sampler platter for two and several Huge plates of delicious BBQ were brought out... More

We have eaten at El Papagayo Cantando several times, both for lunch and dinner. We have never been disappointed. Tonight was no different. The margaritas are consistently well made from scratch and the service we have received from Nelson (our regular waiter) is always top notch. If you are in the center of town, near the City Hall you are... More

We have eaten here a handful of times and have always enjoyed our food. the funky atmosphere of being in a garden with rope lights is fun. The food is BBQ oriented with a Mexican flavor to it. So the bbq sauce isn't normal, its better! The only downside I'd say is that it is on the expensive side. But... More

Spent the day in Loreto as part of our cruise liner stop. Read all the reviews on Trip Advisor before going, but missed this one. It is located on the main street with beautiful gardens. I think that is what drew us there. We had quesdillas with spinach and cheese, tempera fried clams, and guacamole served in its shell. Plenty... More

Looking for a decent meal off our cruise ship. Large outdoor garden setting and diverse menu lured us in. We ordered:fried clams, corn and Poblano chowder, chicken breast stuffed with cheese and chile. Chicken breast was so tender you could cut it with a fork. We did not want to go back to the ship! We will be back to... More

Took a late lunch here and we were craving fish tacos. they are not on the menu but they should be. Amazing black sea bass cooked to perfection. 3 to a plate so you will be full when done. And BTW, really good margaritas!

We stopped here one evening for the key lime tart which was delicious. Last night be stopped for dinner - the corn chowder & the brisket were very good. This is a lovely place with lots of foliage, a water fountain, & twinkle lights. Friendly staff & good service. we would recommend.

Really cute location. The food is terrible and pricey. Went there to treat my in-laws and were very disappointment.
