Be sure to view the sail fish in Houechiel (not sure how to spell this) beads and wax. Really well done. Food is good local food. Also interesting small gift shop run by Marcos who is also the waiter.

Great place for a big lunch or dinner. In my wife's opinion (and she's an expert on these) the chili rellenos are second best in baja. (Best at "Las Fuentes" in Todos Santos. This is not a fancy place but the outdoor patio adds great ambience and the owner/chef does a fantastic job on all the food, but the rellenos... More

Not sure how to rate this restaurant, since we went there twice and had totally different experiences: the first one amazing, which is why we went back...and that time is was very so-so. A local tipped us off to this restaurant, and suggested we ask for their pescado fajitas (not on the menu). It was delicious, as were the "birdbath... More

We were a little disappointed by the food here, having been told by two different folks that it was very good.

We frequented Mexico Lindo y Que Rico during our stay in Loreto. It is family owned and everyone there was friendly and accommodating. Not much ambience, but go there for the food, not the décor! When we were there, an artist was there selling beaded items at one table and there were beaded necklaces and bracelets on tables at the... More

Our last special meal was at Mexico Lindo y Que Rico. From the interesting décor, family pictures and very friendly staff, this is a winner. We went there in the later part of May when it is quiet and we were almost the only guests. We received wonderful attention and generous care in our meal preparation. The Margaritas are to... More

We are in Loreto for two weeks staying the first week at a remotely located resort. The food at the resort has been underwhelming so we went to town for lunch. We found this restaurant and it's exactly what we wanted. Homemade authentic Mexican food. Great service, great prices, good sized portions and many options on the menu. We will... More

Very friendly staff but food is mediocre. Definately better restaurants in Loreto. Never many people, fish tacos average.

We just returned from this authentic Mexican restaurant and were delighted with the service and food. Yes, it is very modest, but don't pass this one by for something fancier. As others have noted, it is a family run establishment. The daughter speaks excellent English, and took the time to gently correct some of the Spanish mistakes I was making.... More
