Best "chocolate" Clams in the area!

guacamole, chips, stuffed baked potatoe with flank steak. Ate here twice during our stay in Loreto. Went back because it was so good.

Where the locals go. Good seafood. Especially their local chocolate clams (the color, not the flavor)

For our annual fishing trip to Loreto, the La Palapa Mexican Restaurant is a must stop. The restaurant has an outdoor grill at its entrance. The fragrant smell of grilled seafood really wet one's appetite. This time we brought a large fillet of grouper for the group. It is not often that we can catch more than one grouper and... More

Excellent salsas and guacamole. Amazing Margaritas! They also serve craft beer and the el Bandido stout is wonderful. The Papa Rellena - stuffed potato- is delicious! The staff are friendly and helpful. We have eaten at several Loreto restaurants, and this one soon became our favorite.

Ate at la palapa several times during the week of 5/7/15 to 5/14/15. Food and service were spot on. Chef did a custom stuffed potatoe for my wife and wow was it amazing. Went fishing one day. Caught a dorado and brought the fillet to la palapa for late lunch. Once again everything was perfect. We are at several restaurants... More

We just got into town and were starving and were starving, so we ran by La Palapa, since we hadn't been there for quite sometime and it's never disappointed us. It's a charming indoor/outdoor environment, with a palapa style roof, constructed of natural palm leaves, and an open fire style kitchen, so you can watch the chef prepare your food... More

i cannot say that there was one negative thing about this restaurant. The food, the atmosphere, the staff and the environment made my first visit to Loreto a memorable one

We love La Palapa, the wait staff and the food! Dinners begin with a complimentary hors d'oevre plate including various salsas, pickled onions, pico de gallo and chips. The Caesar salad is made to order at your table - fresh, delicious and per preferences. We have had fresh caught fish prepared here in multiple fashions and never been disappointed!

We have eaten in La Palapa a number of times. You might say it is our default choice when deciding. Never had a bad meal there. All meals are well prepared and the service is professional.
