Great service, good food, fun atmosphere

Staff was friendly & patient. We tried our horrible Spanish on them, through which we learned their name is loosely based on the dive shop next door & how Dolphins sound like they're giggling. Atmosphere is a mix of, well anything with a slight emphasis on Dolphins & chavo, a Mexican comedy show... read more

Most of the town was quiet in the middle of May, so the fact that only 2 other people were there with us doesn't mean much. The atmosphere could just as easily been jumping. The tables and walls are coated with odd-ball memorabilia, surf boards, kayaks, etc. The waiter was very patient and knowledgeable. The food was filling, and tasty.... More

It took us awhile to locate where this place was. it turned out that it was not too far a walk the La Mission, where we were staying. This is a fun place to eat. The food is good and plentiful and the reasonable priced.

Another year, another fantastic meal and experience at the Giggling Dolphin. I Momy's shrimp dish. A house specialty of shrimp wrapped in bacon and cheese. Mouth watering delicious!

A few blocks from the beach this casual restaurant under a palapa offers well prepared food at moderate prices.

The seafood was so fantastic I returned the following evening......seviche, lobster, garlic clams on the half shell, parrot fish.......and I barely sampled the menu after two evenings dining at the Giggling Dolphin. The first evening we were a party of six who enjoyed both seafood and the traditional mexican specialties. Service was attentive, drinks properly chilled and masterfully prepared. Other... More

There were 9 of us for dinner. This is a small family run restaurant. The food was excellent, and the guacamole was the best in town (we tried most). The enchilada sauce was amazing as was the clams, lobster, and fish fajitas. We saw a fisherman pull his boat and trailer up in front and deliver the day's catch of... More

We stopped in to have a snack and a cold beer. After our snack, we were so full we didn't eat dinner that night. Very friendly place, great staff and quality food await you. Would recommend.

After some sightseeing, this was a great place to relax and enjoy good friends. The drinks take a long time coming, but the margaritas go down very well. Lots of stuff to look at and after a couple of drinks, the band grows on you.

The kids loved the Giggling Dolphin - lots to see and the menu was quite extensive. We had great dinner of seafood and mexican entrees - the kids thought the flan was the best they had tasted!
