Clams are amazing!!!!!

Wonderful menu, food, service, ambiance. Great place to relax and enjoy the food and atmosphere. Located a couple blocks off the main street of town and within walking distance of local hotels and the marina. Well worth the effort to sample a new place not on the local walking tree lined street.

We ended up finding this great little place after me and my husband met a couple awesome guys at a local bar. They had gone fishing and took the fish over and had it cooked by this very authentic Loreto restaurant. You can see the wife and daughter cook your food there is no "behind the scenes action." close to... More

Night I was there was slow, however Owner greeted me warmly, recommended a good meal (Lobster), mixed a mean Margarita, and made me feel right at home. Fair price for an excellent meal and hospitality. This is what great Mexican restaurants are about!

We had heard to give it a try, so we did. We did go mid-day and were the only people in the place. The quirky atmosphere is kind of fun. The food was just ok. I had the fish tacos & my husband the shrimp tacos. Not anything to write home about. We will give it another try maybe on... More

2nd time eating here and it was even better than I remembered. Staff was great, and very accommodating. The Suzuki Samaria fire place and boat bar made the place unique. Give it a try.

We usually take our fresh caught fish over to Giggling Dolphin to have them cook it for us. We especially like to order our fish cooked breaded, butter garlic, and cilantro sauce. The last time we had it cooked with vegies. I think this has become our new favorite. Full bar with very good margaritas. Our granddaughter has a lot... More

We wanted something local and fresh. This place rocked. Chopped your ingredients fresh and cooked to order. Before leaving we had a Mariachi band come in and sing. We went back on a Sunday but they where closed, but it was about 9pm.

Stopped in for lunch and had great fish and shrimp tacos and a couple of beers! They were very good and inexpensive, 3 tacos was 75 pesos and plenty.

Staff was friendly & patient. We tried our horrible Spanish on them, through which we learned their name is loosely based on the dive shop next door & how Dolphins sound like they're giggling. Atmosphere is a mix of, well anything with a slight emphasis on Dolphins & chavo, a Mexican comedy show. The food was good, the guacamole the... More

Most of the town was quiet in the middle of May, so the fact that only 2 other people were there with us doesn't mean much. The atmosphere could just as easily been jumping. The tables and walls are coated with odd-ball memorabilia, surf boards, kayaks, etc. The waiter was very patient and knowledgeable. The food was filling, and tasty.... More
