We had two meals at the Giggling Dolphin. One night we took our own fish in to be cooked. The second night it was prepared in garlic and butter. The meals were excellent both nights but the service was different on the two occasions. The second night was a friend's birthday dinner. No red wine was available and only 3... More

We've have eaten here each time we come to our 2nd home in Loreto. We love the location and clean open kitchen. Meals are large, so be sure to bring your appetite!

The Bar is an Old boat, and they have a Suzuki Samari barbecue. They have a peddle Magarita mixer. The food was not the best, but by the time we ate there we were pretty spoiled, by the food in Lareto.

First off this is only 1 block from the water, the map is wrong. Probably the worst enchiladas I had anywhere. I rarely waste food but could not finish. There was way too much salt and the sauce was more like an Italian tomato sauce then an enchilada sauce. Good place for drinks but I would skip the food.

A friend and I walked into this restaurant one Saturday afternoon and found the ambiance to be very nice. Open air, casual dining, very interesting and fun decorations. Ubaldo the owner was our waiter and he was kind and attentive, suggesting different options and being generally helpful without being overbearing. My friend brought in his own fish and they prepared... More

We ate there several times on our trip. We took our own fish twice. Had it cooked w/ garlic and butter and Vera Cruz style. Small Dorado and a Pargo. It was delicious. Their steamed vegetables were a little over done for me so I ordered beans the next time, no problem he said. The Limonade was made w/ sparkling... More

Behind the La Mision Hotel, the food was fresh and reasonably priced. The people were very friendly and engaging. Go there, you won't be sorry.

The Laughing Dolphin just might have been our favorite desitination on our trip to Loreto! We were staying out at a resort 20 miles away and the trip into Loreto was less than desirable; but we made it a 2nd time just to go back to Laughing Dolphin. The atmosphere is awesome, the margarita's were the best we've ever had... More

We were coming back from a successful fishing outing (dorado) and stopped in to have them cook up our catch. The dorado Veracruz style was absolutely delicious!! So delicious that I insisted on being brought back into the kitchen to get their recipe. The service was gracious and the margaritas strong and tasty!! Overall, a great experience!! We're going back... More

The giggling dolphin serves great food. The atmosphere is fun and the drinks are strong. Their coconut shrimp is awesome. If you order a margarita, be prepared to pedal the bicycle to blend it your self. I recommend this place.
