What a huge disappointment to make the drive and have the place be closed during posted open times (i.e. Th 3 pm). Obviously a hit or miss - don't go unless your prepared to make the drive for nothing. Fortunately we found El Papagayo in town and had a delicious dinner so the day was saved.

You drive across open range on a dirt road - in the middle of no where. Very small wooden signs lead you to La Picazon. All alone on the sea of cortez. Kayaks sit on the beach for your use.
