On Monday mornings it can sometimes be hard to find some place open for breakfast. The owner and staff were very welcoming and interested in where we were from and what we had planned for our Loreto visit. Our omelettes were very tasty.

we had a nice lunch on the plaza in Loreto- despite the heat they had fans outdoors which made it very comfortable. the food is very good and when they say the Diablo sauce is hot, they arent' kidding!

Food was excellent and as we had the special combo, the pricing was good. They made fabulous margaritas as well. Very cute little place just behind the square. Owner was very nice and agreed to give us a better exchange rate for our dollars than initially quoted. We will visit again.

This is a great place for locals and foreigners alike. The staff is very attentive and friendly and kindly cooked our caught fish in a variety of different ways! They also spoke very good English and helped us learn more about Loreto!

Had breakfast here, great omelets. Also stopped for chocolate clams and drinks several times, yesterday very cold drinks! On the square by the mission, very accommodating for those of us who needed extra fans. Stop for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

What a great place! The chef comes out (sometimes) and takes your order! He is open to substitutions, or even making something not on the menu. Try the Cabrilla Chipotle-just out of this world. They really make you feel welcome and aim to please. Don't miss this place. Drinks are great as well!

Enjoy the food here at least once every trip to Loreto. The secret is don't come real hungry or take advantage of some great appetizers (chocolate clams a must!). Recommend you order two drinks at a time because the only downer is they never seem to have enough help for the amount of patrons. Owner/chef takes everyone's order personally -... More

We recently enjoyed another lovely evening at Mita Gourmet. We have dined there many times and have always enjoyed the ambiance, the delicious food, and the friendly atmosphere. The owner and chef, Juan Carlos, personally takes food orders and offers suggestions catered to individual tastes and preferences. We love the outdoor seating and the location on the town square.
