Food was excellent and as we had the special combo, the pricing was good. They made fabulous margaritas as well. Very cute little place just behind the square. Owner was very nice and agreed to give us a better exchange rate for our dollars than initially quoted. We will visit again.

This is a great place for locals and foreigners alike. The staff is very attentive and friendly and kindly cooked our caught fish in a variety of different ways! They also spoke very good English and helped us learn more about Loreto!

Had breakfast here, great omelets. Also stopped for chocolate clams and drinks several times, yesterday very cold drinks! On the square by the mission, very accommodating for those of us who needed extra fans. Stop for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

What a great place! The chef comes out (sometimes) and takes your order! He is open to substitutions, or even making something not on the menu. Try the Cabrilla Chipotle-just out of this world. They really make you feel welcome and aim to please. Don't miss this place. Drinks are great as well!

Enjoy the food here at least once every trip to Loreto. The secret is don't come real hungry or take advantage of some great appetizers (chocolate clams a must!). Recommend you order two drinks at a time because the only downer is they never seem to have enough help for the amount of patrons. Owner/chef takes everyone's order personally -... More

We recently enjoyed another lovely evening at Mita Gourmet. We have dined there many times and have always enjoyed the ambiance, the delicious food, and the friendly atmosphere. The owner and chef, Juan Carlos, personally takes food orders and offers suggestions catered to individual tastes and preferences. We love the outdoor seating and the location on the town square. This is an excellent outdoor restaurant and despite the heat the staff manages to make your experience wonderful! They were quick to adjust the fans and bring us very cold beer in iced glasses....makes all the difference! Fresh fish Mojo de Ajo was wonderful and flan on a bed of Kahlua with chocolate chip ice cream! Surprisingly wonderful!

When in deep Baja Mexico you don't always expect to find good pasta. We were very pleased to find not only great pasta but incredible service. The location is very quaint being right on the center plaza in historic Loretto. I am a big curry fan and a pasta fan so when I saw curry chicken pasta I went for... More
