We went to Mita's and also its sister restaurant Hola 19, which has the same menu. Amazing food, lovely people, Try the pasta with clams, the seafood rellenos, and the seafood salad.

Really enjoyed La Mita. I was indecisive about my sauce for the fresh fish and Juan Carlos did up both of my choices - guajillo chiles with garlic and cilantro cream sauce, both were delicious. He also accommodated a 1/2 order of the clams as a starter. Hubby had the tortilla soup and spicy Mexican beef which he also enjoyed... More

We just visited a couple of day for our 19th anniversary dinner. Can't say enough about this place. The chef Carlos was very accommodating, taking the food orders himself, asking if we had any specific wishes. We had the seafood soup which was out of this world. My wife chose the cream cilantro shrimp, which were delicious. I opted for... More

Conveniently located in the plaza of Loreto, this family restaurant does a great job of serving delicious food - the chocolate clams are a must-have. The chef/owner/father helps you choose if you wish and makes the meal special......the fish is particularly good.

Unbelievably delicious fish appetizer and main course made from our fresh fish prepared 3 ways (our choice of 6-7 possibilities on how it was prepared). Hope to catch more fish and bring them in!

The good reviews and circle of excellence. We were ignored completely and just left after ten minutes. Maybe they only like the people who stay in Loreto and not the cruise passengers.

We had a very nice dinner. The atmosphere is really friendly, created mainly by the chef of the restaurant. Food was delicious and tasteful, especially shrimps. Very good attitude to children. Portions could be bigger, but still very good quality of food.

We came here for the reviews but were very disappointed, the fish was fresh but very poorly cooked... basically drowning in a flavorless sauce! Also apparently the chef was in a bad mood, we were denied desert and told by the chef himeslf that one of the plates we ordered was horrible! Well if its horrible, then dont make it!

Mita Gourmet sits right in the middle of the town square. It is everything individuals below have said. The owner is very hospitable, the food very good and the ambiance well worth experiencing. The prices were reasonable and it didn't have a touristy feeling, which some of the restaurants had. Like many of the restaurants, it is an open air... More

One of the best fish preparations I've ever had. The chef is obviously a pro and combines the best, freshest ingredients with the simplest and most perfect preparation. The service was so personal and delightful. A lovely evening that will make us return to Loreto soon.
