Excellent food but service lacked warmth

Our dinner was very good but the waitress was having an off day. She didn't even pretend to be pleased to see us. We paid the bill in Pesos and she brought change in US dollars - and we are Brits! We didn't go back.

Beautiful setting. Had dinner here with music playing in the plaza and party Iights lighting up the plaza. The margarita was perfect, my shrimp in cilantro cream sauce with pasta and garlic vegetables was too die for, my husband had sea bass in chipotle cream sauce - it was moist and excellent. Service was great/ fast and the price was... More

As many have mentioned earlier, the chef is the only one cooking and taking orders. So the food can take a while. However, it was well worth the wait. One of the best meals that I have had in Baja. The location is awesome as well since you are sitting on the plaza. So you have a nice view of... More

The minute we arrived I knew we picked the right place. Martha greeted our group like we were old friends serving us great margaritas and suggesting several sauces for the fish that we brought to be grilled. We had caught Yellowtail earlier in the day and the captain told us that Mita Gourmet was the place to have them make... More

Loved this restaurant. Good service and great food. I had the cilantro shrimp and was expecting shrimp with some sort of cilantro sauce (which I have had a hundred time at different places). What I got was so much more. There was a lot of cilantro and it was all charred. Like charred greens. It gave such a unique spin... More

We just happened to be wandering around Loreto, MX during our port stop from a Princess cruise when we came across this restaurant. All I can say was, my stuffed fish was just AMAZING. I now wish that I lived a whole lot closer. This would be my favorite place to eat. I could eat this dish everyday. The fish... More

We tried to get in one night and it was full. So we made a point of going early the next night. The owner and chef came to our table to take our order himself. He asked several questions about what we liked and then designed the dinner specifically for us. It was excellent.

My husband and I had an excellent meal here. It is especially pleasant because the chef comes right to your table to talk to you a couple of time to make sure that you know and enjoy the food. I had the Cilantro Cream Fish and it was fantastic! Excellent restaurant!!

Centrally located. Right on the square. Great tortilla soup and fish tacos etc. Fresh food, well prepared.

The personal touch by the Chef and the quality of the meal made this a memorable dining experience. The Chef came to our table (he goes to every table) and asked a few questions to personalize each order, such as "from 1-10, how spicy do you want your meal", and "would you like clams with your Veracruz-style fish". The quality... More
