Apparently my experience does not match others, so take this as you will. My impression of this place is that it wants to be fancy, but in the end is just mediocre. The hostess sat me, then another woman tried to take my drink order. Mojito? No mint. No big deal. Then when I tried to order my meal -... More

Chef Juan Carlos will come to your table and personally make sure your dining experience is excellent. This is one of the only places I know where you get to interact with the person cooking your food. Try the fresh fish of the day with one of the wonderful sauces JC prepares. My favorite is mango!

We loved our fish dinner and thoroughly enjoyed a friendly chat with the chef who seemed to enjoy his job as much as we enjoyed the outcome!

First time to Loreto. First night in town. Walked through the town plaza and read the Mita menu. What the... Why not? Pleased does not describe our reaction. Great sauces, friendly and attentive service. Had to go back three nights later. Second round was even better. chef is a blast and he can cook. Very reasonable on the price front.... More

First off, learned chocolate clams were called that because the shell is that color, not the taste or any sauce put on it! Lol! They serve it on a huge platter (an order of 12 is plenty!) with melted cheese and a slight spicy sauce over it-perfect with a beer (which are only $2). They are so friendly here-sit on... More

Met the husband of Mita running the snack bar at the Loreto Bay golf course and he told us to go see his wife and if the food was not good, he would pay for it. Our taxi driver took us there and we met Mita who already knew what her husband had said before we said anything. All we... More

Everyone in our group ordered a different fresh fish entrée and all were excellent. Best meal we had in Loreto.

On Monday mornings it can sometimes be hard to find some place open for breakfast. The owner and staff were very welcoming and interested in where we were from and what we had planned for our Loreto visit. Our omelettes were very tasty.

we had a nice lunch on the plaza in Loreto- despite the heat they had fans outdoors which made it very comfortable. the food is very good and when they say the Diablo sauce is hot, they arent' kidding!

Food was excellent and as we had the special combo, the pricing was good. They made fabulous margaritas as well. Very cute little place just behind the square. Owner was very nice and agreed to give us a better exchange rate for our dollars than initially quoted. We will visit again.
