The coffee is pronounced excellent by my partner. I had english style tea (black tea, brewed strong) which was pretty good. Bagels, lox and chipotle cream cheese was a great breakfast. He liked his bacon and egg bagel. Tables outside in the breeze on a quiet street. There is a "terrible" review of this place that the owner objected to.... More

OK, take it from me these are just about the best bagels you will find in the Baja, One or two days later they just keep on getting better. Not a bread item but a real bagel and for an extra treat add some home made lox, that's right, not the Costco stuff but real home made nova lox. The... More

There are no shortages of wonderful breakfast spots in La Paz. I know, I live here and don't ever cook breakfast. But I do walk across town three times a week for the Bagel Shop experience. Great coffee with no rush and sometimes a nice conversation with the Bagel Shop regulars, and there are now many. Fabrizio makes his own... More

Ultra fresh fruit of the day bowl, fresh green mixed salad, tasty egg dishes & waffles. Excellent fresh juices (loved the jugo verde with spinach!). Locally sourced smoked Marlin is excellent, get it on plate or on bagel. They make their own bagels and baguettes and use for their fresh sandwiches. Very good coffee, "americano" & espresso drinks. Favorite breakfast... More

This place may be small and off the "main drag", but it's well worth finding. The Bagel Shop is not the only coffee cafe on the block - feel free to try the others. However, you'll find this place to be the best! And, if you're from NYC or a lox lover, whoa - don't miss their lox and bagel.... More

Some time ago I read a very bad review of this place, and I decided then and there, I will check it out one day I get to La Paz. The owners are very nice and so is the wait staff. The breakfast I had on four different days was good, but if you look for a $2.99 deal, you... More

This we had gone to this place sooner so we could go back. Great service. The bagels were great, not a NY bagel but nothing is. My husband had the "Rancheros de la Cristi" which he said was great. We might have to go back tomorrow on our way out of town so I can take a picture of it

Visited the bagel shop this morning with my husband. I ordered a coffee with a ham and cheese sesame bagel and my husband ordered a cheese bagel. Your choice of ham is plain or smoked, cheese choices are Gouda or cream cheese. Bagels were everything, sesame, plain, poppy seed and cinnamon raisin. Bagel is the large puffy kind found in... More

The bagels are excellent - fresh, just the right amount of chewy and large. They had 4 different kinds the day I want and they were all good. They are also very reasonably priced. But if you want them to toast it up and put anything at all on it, you will pay. The supermercado is right around the corner,... More
