We found this little gem of a restaurant one morning while looking for a place that served breakfast, American style. I had pancakes with scrambled eggs and bacon. My spouse had fried eggs, hashbrowns, sausage. We liked it so much, we went back the next morning! I had the potato and queso soup, with carrots, cilantro, onion and spices, a... More

The Dock Café is one of my favorite places to have breakfast. The staff is friendly and courteous, the food is good and plentiful. I recommend trying the chilaquiles. This is a traditional Mexican dish. I usually get my chiaquiles with salsa verde and scrambled eggs.

Located on the grounds of the friendliest marina in La Paz, Marina de La Paz, The Dock Cafe is a great place to relax and dream of cruising in the Sea of Cortez. Catering to both locals and yachtistas, this laid-back cafe offers views of the yachts in the marina and the comings and goings of the dinghy commuting crowd.... More

Don't expect gourmet food, but this is a pleasant shady spot to watch the dingies come in from the boats moored further out. The service is friendly and unhurried. I had a nice tuna salad on crisp greens that I liked and would have again. Our friends had fish and chips they say are the best in the area. My... More

The Dock had good solid food for a good value. It is a beautiful setting at the Marina, where you can sit in or outside. Make sure you have time to enjoy the view.Service can be slow.Judy M.

We are in La Paz several times a year, stay at Posada Luna Sol, and SCUBA dive with eithe Buseo Carey or Club Cortez. The Dock Cafe is an easy walk from Posada, has good breakfasts and lunches. We have not had dinner here.

No parking, service is very very slow. Ordered the red chilaquiles with one fried egg. Got the chilaquiles but no fried egg. Waiter did not offer to bring the egg even after pointing out the lack of it. Chilquiles were very soggy, a ton on cheese on top and refried beans were unusually greasy.

This was recommended by the Posada people. It offers a wide variety of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything is of American quality with outstanding Mexican dishes. It is on the marina, so is a very popular place for people living in their boats. Everything was of high quality, and the waiters truly recommend what is good, rather than... More
