The restaurant has sun coming in from two sides. Which made it really hot. The waiter said they had a batch of fresh live lobster that just came arrived in the morning and that's the special of the day. Our party of 3 all ordered the special. When it was served it looked great. But the meat was flaky. It... More

Recommended by a local. Six tables occupied with locals, we were the only gringo's. I had the Imperial Shrimp, shrimp, stuffed with cheese and wrapped with bacon.I've tried this dish in many cities in Mexico and this was one of the best. Came with three salad's,green, potato, and cucumber along with rice. All for $180.p's a bargain at $14.00. The service was... More

This is what good Mexican seafood is all about. Fresh, tasty and well prepared. Unfortunately we were only able to eat here once during our week-long visit to La Paz. But, Los Laureles will definitely be one of my first stops (if not -the- first) next time I'm in town.

Ate here 3 times during a 5 day La Paz visit. All the fish dishes we tried were very good, large portions and very reasonably priced.Great friendly service, nice location on the malecon , away from the busier part.

Delicious cooked and raw seafood delights. My favorite is the Tostada Especial with mixed raw seafood, cucumber adn avocado. We also have the raw chocolate clams on the half-shell every time we visit. Super quality every time. It's a favorite of ours.

This restaurant looks very unassuming from outside but they have great food! I had the seafood soup and seafood platter both of which were yummy. Fresh fish. Great, friendly service. Doesn't look like a touristy place. I saw many locals also eat here. It's right on malecon but away from the popular part of it. Nice views.

We had been wanting to check this place out for some time and were not disappointed. The prices were very reasonable, we had a nice view of the water, and fish was very fresh My husband had the filet in garlic sauce and it was huge, with rice, potato salad vegetables and tortillas. I had two tostadas: fish ceviche and... More

We've been coming to La Paz for the past 5 years but didn't make it here until this year. So glad we were introduced to Los Laureles by friends. The food is soooo good, we now go back for more. The restraurant is clean with a great open view of the Malecon. The service is terrific & my favorite waiter... More

I was in La Paz for a couple days before and after a camping and kayaking trip to Espiritu Santo. I had lunch one day at Los Laureles, ordering what was named a shrimp quesadilla, but it was really four shrimp tacos. Call them what you want. Either way, they were pretty good but nothing spectacular, and the relentless mariachi... More

The ceviche was as good as I have ever had. Grilled octopus with butter and garlic made us swoon. The seafood cocktail was a little bland for my taste so stick to the ceviches.
