It's ice cream, and it's home made, but Gelato it is not. Flavors are ok, I much prefer the Sorbets at La Fuente around the corner. I also had en espresso which was not mediocre, but barely. I don't know if the coffee was stale or the water quality, but everything was not what you should expect form a place... More

There was something off about the gelato here. The consistency was not smooth. The only flavor that my wife and I liked was the hazelnut. Pistachio tasted like coconut. Our dessert option changed to the many paletas that were offered around the waterfront. We would not recommend

Was very refreshing and satisfying. Good variety of flavours to choose from and the pastries were very good. My problem is that last time I had gelato was in Italy and this was nothing near that. To much of an ice crystal texture for my taste preference.

Just what we needed after walking the length of the Malecon on a warm day. Got a little bowl and sat on a bench on the Malecon and watched the world go by. Get the Nutella - it was great!! Just around the corner from Hotel Perla.

Have not had the ice cream, but the coffee has been great both times I've been there. First time I had a cafe americano, asked for a black strong coffee. The second time, I ordered an espresso americano. Not as good as the first one, but better than anything else I tried in La Paz.

Very good gelato. Reasonably priced. Tasting is welcome. I would go there again in an instant! There are a number of good ice cream and paleta places and this is the best! Tables outside. Only half a block up from the Malecon

A good variety of flavors, good portions (I would say too big). I would say average taste... It does the work!

Good variety of delicious gelato, flavor is rich without being too sweet. I'd recommend trying the cactus-fruit flavored one. Coffee is decent too.

We lodged nearby and went for awesome cappuccino, coffee, hot chocolate with Chantilly (MUST TRY) and/or gelato every day. The owner is from Verona, Italy and creates ice cream that is the best in town - hard to find good ice cream in La Paz. He had some licorice gelato which was awesome, but my favorite was hazelnut. You cannot... More

The selection is good and they have good coffee too. Great way to end the evening after dinner in the Melecon.
