Victims of their own success

I came in for breakfast on Sunday and they had 4 other tables (some locals, some tourists) enjoying their breakfast, I ordered and had some of their excellent coffee when a large group came in. About 25 to 30 people in all. The manager rapidly accommodated tables and seating then went to the door... read more

Our server was excellent. I didn't mind that he wasn't fluent in English, enjoyed trying our Spanish. I found food to be overpriced for mediocre quality. There are interesting bits and pieces of decor that are worth perusing.

While I appreciate that finding someone who speaks English at a restaurant in La Paz is helpful but not a right - our visit here was almost comical. We arrived at 12:30pm and our drink order was taken while we we're shown 'breakfast menu' in Spanish. No one could explain anything on the menu, and we were ready to leave... More

Our hotl referred us here. My wife had Tamarindo shrimp and found it to be a bit spicy but good. My fish was tasty and. The portions were large and the price reasonable. Our only complaint is that the menu is very limited so we more than likely won´t return unless we wish to repeat our previous choices.

We ate here with family of six, and will definitely return. Very nice ambience, beautiful inner courtyard. Staff were extremely friendly, food simple but good. Children's play area, tables spread out for private casual dining. We didn't feel rushed to get out because they needed our table. Ample street parking in a quiet part of town. Great job!

Largish restaurant that fills up pretty consistently. This is one of those restaurants where discerning natives dine. Great patio with nice atmosphere for conversation over dinner and beyond. There is no sense of the waiter hovering waiting to turn the table. Not exactly gourmet dining, but the food is prepared and presented well. A wonderful place to share time with... More

good points: restaurant is beautiful, great patio opened, very clean and confortable, good mexican wine and wifi working well. bad points: the food!!!! The waiter told us the chef was absent so the replacement was covering him... so we asked for a easy to prepare plates (ceviche, guacamole and tortilla soup, 100pesos each plate) and everything was soon spicy! we...
