We had breakfast here our second morning in La Paz. I had huevos with machaca, and my boyfriend had the chilequiles. Both were absolutely delicious. Horchata and coffee to round it out. Fantastic value for the price. We dined here again a few days later and shared some guacamole and an arrachera taco - so tender and delicious! Would have... More

We didn't make it to the other Rancho Viejo so can't compare but we loved Rancho Viejo 2 so much that we ate there daily while in La Paz. We found the service to be good and food was served very fast. The tacos are amazing, the arracherra is the tastiest beef I have ever eaten and the pastor was... More

Dont get me wrong #2 is still good but the portion sizes are smaller and the service is NOT as good. I have eaten at both places and sometimes the convenience of having the second location is good but the upstairs spot on the second location is just too hot and the servers have to up and down a circular... Love coming to this place as it is located right on the malecon and is fast and delicious food...always great to stop and have a cold beer and a couple of delicious tacos to eat to continue doing a shopping expedition....The arrachera and pastor tacos melt in your mouth and a good array of salsa to accompany everything...the tortillas are... Even though the restaurant is right on the Malecon, the interior is pretty grungy and uninspiring. The food, however, is excellent. We had ribs and the seafood malejote - both excellent. The prices were very reasonable. The service, however, was just okay.

Best Mexican food anywhere in La Paz. You could make a meal out of the relish tray . Grilled Peppers, fresh salsa, marinated onions, etc. Two locations. Both excellent but I think the food is better at the original Viejo and the view is better on the malecon. We usually go for Papas Rellenas (Stuffed Potatoes). Reasonably priced. Really could do... Superb beef if you are a meat eater like my guy. Fish tacos are my favorite! Scenic view at the malecon location.

Same owners as Rancho Viejo, but right on the Malecon...simple, home cooked food...no muss no fuss, and an easy in and out place to eat while shopping or rushing around.

Always the finest Mexican food anywhere. The relish try you could make a meal out of. Grilled Peppers, fresh salsa, marinated onions so sweet you can't get enough of and cabbage a mexican traditions. Breakfast, lunch or dinner You will salivate just thinking about it. Two locations Both excellent. The large fish platters were excellent.

Great location on the Malecon....tables too close to the street for exhaust consumption but the view is fabulous. I'd eat there every day if the Malecon was closed to traffic at lunch or dinner..........
