Just walking into this beautiful restaurant you know you are in for a special dining experience. The atmosphere is elegant and the staff is warm and welcoming. Our waiter (Pedro?) was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and could answer all our questions about where the different menu items came from, especially the seafood. Turns out he is... More

We live in Portland, Oregon where good food is just expected. Our food carts are better most restaurants in other cities. This place would hold its own in Portland. World class talent in this kitchen. We stopped in for a light dinner, a couple salads and an appetizer, but wished we had found it sooner in our trip. We never... More

Tres Virgenes came to be one of our favorite restaurants in La Paz. Incredible mango mojitos - the best we have ever had. From great appetizers of mussels with a saffron sauce to the steak and roasted chicken dishes that we had, it was wonderful.

This place has such good food it's almost criminal. The chefs here are works class and the atmosphere is surreal. The BBQ churns out mesquite flavored treats with precision and restrained flavor. The drinks are fantastic, especially the basil martini. Our entire party loved this place so much we ate here twice...which we rarely do on a vacation.

They put way too much pork into their otherwise attractive burgers, good steak though, lots of local middle-class diners, not exactly a jovial atmosphere but good service and a nice bar. Easy walk to waterfront after dinner.

The restaurant is in a beautiful colonial house with a really nice patio, the meat is excellent but I also recomend the pulpitos (octopus) the prices are quite reasonable for the quality of the food. Will definetely go back.

Diverse menu; excellent food; dine in the interior courtyard. Reasonably priced. Be sure to get reservations, especially on weekends.

Had a strawberry margarita. Just okay. Not the worst I've had in la Paz, but I had a better one last night on the Marina, at a bar pretty far out with large colored lights. (Sorry don't know the name) and at a seafood restaurant on the malecon, Mariscos Los Laureles.

There is a lovely patio for outdoor dining, and an inside area that is very nice, wth a nice atmosphere. The food is consistently good, the service...not so much! But, it IS Mexico, and the food is worth the ocassion long wait.

Probably the most upscale place I've eaten at in the city of La Paz, although I'm not a local expert. It's just a block from the cathedral/Constitution Square, so very convenient. Good food. Intimate atmosphere.
