A great place to eat if you want casual Mexican food, at reasonable prices. Very tasty too! Menu is quite varied.

Fantastic tacos arrachera, chile rellenos, huevo rancheros and a great atmosphere also. I have lived here for 5 years and it is the 1st place I take my guests.

We really enjoyed our al fresco dinner at Rancho Viejo. A fresh and crisp relish tray of radishes, peppers, pickles etc... is brought to your table before the meal is served. Delicious with cerveza! I had the beef arrachera tacos while my husband had tacos with grilled chicken. Both were delicious, tender and very flavorful. The relish tray also included... More

We went to the branch of Rancho Viejo on the Malecon - good view of the world going by, and delicious beef arrachera - not to be missed!

We went for a late dinner with few people at the restaurant and the service was ridiculous. There was one waitress for all the tables and about 3 other servers just standing around doing nothing. She took forever to serve us, probably b/c she was the only doing anything. The food was alright, not the greatest. it was inexpensive though.

Got the alhambra de pastor and the seafood cocktail. Both were amazing. The homemade salsa had a chipotle flavor that made it the best salsa we have had in baja. Great!!

Loved this place. There are two of them in La Paz. We ate here a few times because it was such a great deal. You can have a standard Mexican dish and a beer for under $10.

the food was grilled outdoors on a huge grill/was excellent. we went back again our last night in Mexico. You have to watch your step when strolling around in La Paz, sidewalks are a bit rough in places and its easy to wipe out if you don't watch carefully where you are going.

We never got ustencils and another couple we know went there too and had to get their ustencils in the kitchen themself. Food was ok but nothing special. The food took forever to come even if we were only 4 in the restaurant. Situation is very good, nice view

Kind of burned out on the food at the bar I had been eating at so I tried Rancho Viejo. Man I am glad I did. Fast service and good food at a fair price. Had not had Tacos Al Pastor in years. They were so good I had to go back again. Had this drink I think it was... More
