My Favorite Restaurant in Laz

It has been. Bit since I Have been back to Azul Marino as when I have come up been trying new spots. I remembered today why it had been my favorite spot to eat in La Paz and after today it has been reaffirmed. We started with what I was not at all thrilled to try, the special Baby Greens... read more

Returned to Azul Marino one sultry day to find it open and the same fine cuisine as always! The tuna tartar is so delicious...positively orgasmic! It is like when you associate a restaurant with one particular dish.... Everything on the menu is guaranteed perfection.... Well worth the slightly off the beat location...but of course, since it is outside and inside... More

A gem of a restaurant - we tried multiple dishes (fish of the day with curry saouce, Shrimp in brandy reduction, pasta) and all were simply outstanding. Add great value and friendly service and you have a winner

Returned to LaPaz for my annual fishing trip the first week of June. As in previous years, I always try to have at least one meal at the Azul Marino. This year I ate there twice and found it to be still one of the best restaurants in LaPaz. Furthermore, I discovered that they will cook one’s catch. The first... More

food is great, but a little pricey and far away from the City. The tuna tartar is wonderful and for dessert, the creme brulee. They not have much variety of drinks. The fish of the day is fresh and cooked perfectly.

Azul Marino has a reputation as one of the best restaurants in La Paz and it certainly lived up to it on our visit. I had a delicious Gazpacho de Andalusia appetizer followed by an intriguing Huitlacoche Pizza. Never had corn smut before but had heard of its virtues many times on food shows. It was a combination of nutty... More

This place is by the most exclusive marine in La Paz. From its outdoor tables you can enjoy the marine atmosphere and some of the golf club courses. The personal is very friendly and competent. They have very good appetizers such as shrimp ceviche, scallops, tuna sashimi, fresh guacamole. You can ask for the appetizer of the day. Of course... More

We celebrated Valentine's day here and it was the perfect place for the occasion. The tuna tartar was delicious as a starter and the salad of the day which had amazingly sweet figs on them. Then for entree we had Mediterranean salad, pork wrapped in bacon, beef lasagne and filete of beef. All were outstanding!! A great meal at the... More

Had a fantastic meal here the other night. The tuna tartare was flavorful and absolutely delicious. Catch of the day was yellowtail which was fresh and seasoned to perfection. Great ambience eating outside by the marina. If you're staying at CostaBaja would definitely recommend.

What a nice surprise on the marina at CostaBaja Resort, La Paz. We had the filet mignon and the brandy flambeed shrimp, both were outstanding. Friendly service in a nice setting. Perhaps the best meal we have ever had in Mexico!
