Nice view, good food and fun to visit. Service was good with a friendly attitude . Look around for catchy sayings painted on the walls

After enjoying the view (it's a 3 story open restaurant overlooking the malecon) and a cold beer, we thought things were headed in the right direction. Chips and salsa were stale and tasteless. Then, for some reason, we ordered sushi. It arrive FROZEN! (They ended up not charging us, which was fair, but it took me a while to get... More

With all the excellent reviews, it was disappointing to eat here. The food was just ok, not great. I come to La Paz for seafood. The fresh yellowtail was not fresh like other area restaurants. Prices were good, and the view is nice. The wait staff would disappear for long periods of time.

Had heard some good reviews of this place, but were disappointed. The service was extremely slow, we waited for what seemed to be an hour for our food, had to ask a couple of times to get a bottle of water. The portions are huge and enough that 2 people could share. The food was decent, but it was the... More

Tail Hunter is a place you want to be great before you get upstairs. The location and views are fantastic. The Disney like archetecture screams this is a fun place. Arrrr. Its perfect. But then.. One employee, mostly not a happy person is there and alone.. Always! Service is slow , drinks are thin and food is poor. On life... More

So we had the weirdest cruise ship stop here in La Paz - 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. (actually all aboard was 1:30 pm) - not much time to do much of anything! We took the free shuttle from the ship to downtown La Paz - 10-1/2 mile 30-minute drive (they drop you off in a square near the Cathedral... More

But it's a fun place with a fantastic view. Perfect place to watch sunset. The food is good, great coconut shrimp. They also do great fishing charters.

Great view and location. Service is decent but inconsistent and the food is just ok for the price in my opinon. Definitely worth a visit to catch a sunset if you are vacationing in La Paz.
