My husband and out of town friend recently signed up to go fishing the the Tailhunter fleet. They had an awesome day catching a wahoo, several dorado, a pompano, a sierra, a grouper and rooster fish. They were specifically looking for fish for the table. Jonathon and Jillene then processed and packaged our fish after setting aside enough for our... More

Tailhunter’s restaurant is ocean facing. It was super easy to get to from the main street. The restaurant had three different levels where you can choose to sit. The first level is a bar style set up that is facing the ocean. So the whole time you’re eating you can enjoy the view. The second level is table style by... More

The food was fine, but nothing special. The place caters mostly to American sports fans, which is surprising since the televisions were barely working.

Many apologies that we disappointed you. But thank you for your comments. Actually, we are probably one of the ONLY places in the entire city that does carry live (not delayed) sports including American Sports (football, baseball, etc.), but also all the sports that our Mexican friends love (again LIVE and not delayed (soccer, boxing, UFC and others). The day... More

Amazing food and the service was tops. We ate at the restaurant on 3 different occasions while in La Paz. We tried several of the fish dishes and each of them was perfect. The fish ceviche was spectacular. Jonathons ribs were some of the best I have had and all of the condiments were fresh and local. The flan was... More

My wife and I were down for our anniversay and we stopped by Tailhunters. First, Jonathan, the owner made not only us, but all the customer feel very welcome. His friendly nature and positive attitude are infectious. I left the decision up to him for our dinner, since my wife is a veggie the Chili Relleno was spot on. The... More

They cooked the fish we caught that morning several ways, best was the Hawaiian family recipe poke. Nice people, great service and the best view in town. Not expensive at all.

This was our first time having breakfast at Tailhunters, but it certainly won't be our last! My daughter (who is 15) and I had the French toast, it was hot, buttery and delicious. My boyfriend had the chorizo and eggs with a side a bacon and was very happy with his meal. The atmosphere is always relaxed and inviting. The... More

The food is excellent, the staff is helpful and pleasant, and the view of the sunset (especially from the top floor) is magnificent!

For the second time we traveled to La Paz, stayed down town this time to enjoy more time in the city. We ate several meals at Tailhunter restaurant with the last being fresh catch that was prepaired for us, very good.
