Sunset Paradise

Absolutely beautiful place to sit and watch the sun set over the Bay. Food is good - nothing to write home about - but the view makes up for it. A must do just for the sunset.

Great place to unwind after a day of fishing or site seeing. The beer is cold the hospitality is warm and the food is hot. A wonderful place to catch one of the famous LaPaz sunsets. Live music, great atmosphere makes this place a gotta go to restaurant! Bring your fresh catch and they will cook it for you. Mmmmm!

Had a fantastic wahoo dinner at the Tailhunter Restaurant and FUBAR. Actually it was our second wahoo dinner this past week. Jonathan and Jill owners of the restaurantl have been there for 6 years. Tonight we had a few different plates, I say different because earlier in the week we also had a wahoo dinner. So what they prepared last... More

Great food, great service. Fished with Tailhunter International and shuttle driver took some of our fish directly over to the restaurant where it was prepared and ready for us a few hours later when we came in for dinner. We had excellent Civiche and Fish Taco's from our fresh catch. Restaurant was clean and service is top notch. If you... More

Had dinner at Tailhunter restaurant after a long day of fishing and have to say that it is a great way to cap off the day. Jonathon and Jill the host and hostess are very attentive and make everything goes perfect. Everything we had was awesome. I highly recommend the ceviche, guacamole, chlle rellanoes and fish tacos. Sit upstairs and... More

After warm days of fishing, sun bathing and snorkeling with sea lions, we were always good and hungry! We were in La Paz for 6 nights and came back to Tailhunters for 4 dinners! The food was so incredibly fresh and delicious every time. From the poke and ceviche to the shrimp gobernador -MY FAV-, we were always blown away... More

We brought some of our catch (yellowfin and dorado) for dinner. We had yellowfin sashime (I have no idea why raw fish is so hard to do right, but mine always sucks) and Jonathan's family poke recipe. I've tried to make poke, too, with dismal results. Both fresh fish dishes were literally the best I've had. They made mojo de... More

We were a group of 6 guys on a fishing trip for a long weekend. We ate at Tailhunter 2 of the 4 nights we were in La Paz. The first night included the best ceviche I have ever eaten. They made it fresh from the fish we caught that day. I followed with the seafood stuffed chile relleno. Again... More

The absolute best restaurant with the best staff & ownership, superior location over looking the Bay of La Paz, fantastic food! Nothing else to say except that it is the number one place in La Paz for a great meal, great drinks & excellent service and you can't beat the view. Tropez - Author (Heaven's Gift)
