We went there one night that was a bit later than usual for dinner. We were a bit sceptical as it looks like the classic place for tourists. It actually was way better than expected! Great ceviche, great service. Portions are quite big. Prices are ok. We went back a second time

Tail Hunter is a great restaurant on the east end of the Malecon. We sat upstairs along the wall facing street to watch the sunset. While this is not a large restaurant, the food is very good and the view is awesome. The wait staff were very friendly and helpful; the young man from Miami working there to "find his... More

Thanks for your kind words! Glad you enjoyed yourselves. That was Enrique ("Kiki") our waiter. We're hoping we can get him back into school. He's a great kid and hopes to do some work with marine biology. Come see us again and muchas gracias again! More

I always go to Tailhunters when I come to La Paz. The food is great, nice selection on the menu. Great drinks out of the bar...try the Blended Mojitos!! The service is the best! The atmosphere is great! And the view of the sunset is awesome! Can't wait to go back when I come down in October!!

We had our 47th wedding Anniversary Dinner at The Tailhunter Restausant on the Malecon in La Paz. Just as it is each year, the food was fantastic (breaded dorado fingers), the sunset was remarkably beautiful and the service was excellent. #1 in La Paz

On most nights you can come and see any sports game, it'll be on. They have created some new signature drinks that are to die for: Vodka infused martinins, Mojitos, and the coldest beers in town. Now lets talk food: Big thick yummy burgers any way you want, homemade shoe sting fries, Fish Tacos, and my favorite the RIBS -... More

We returned to Tailhunter last week, and discovered that Jill has designed new martinis....a ginger (wonderful!!!) and a grapefruit-rosemary (she infuses the liquor herself). They also do a blended mojito that won the hearts of most of our group (12 people). The servers (most of whom have been there for years) are attentive and very helpful, including calling a taxi... Tailhunter restaurant is THE best restaurant on the Malecon. Great every day menu but our group especially likes the way they cook our fresh caught fish....cooked any way you like. Good drinks and always ice cold beer. A must experience for any traveler to La Paz.

This place is the bomb!! Beer is COLD, just the way I like it!! You have to try the chicken wings, they are insane, I love that they are grilled and the sauce is awesome. The margaritas are top notch and the fish tacos platter is one of a kind. And to top it off the view of the Malecon... More
