The Best in La Paz

Every year my family goes to La Paz, our first stop is Tailhunter's. Great food, great atmosphere and the best view in La Paz to see the sun set. Staff is friendly and the service is great. Jonathan and Jill are the best.

I went here a couple times in the time I lived in La Paz... the location is great, and the view from their upper levels is really nice, but I have to say, basically everything I ever ate here was bad... Once I ordered a hamburger well-done, as I always order well-done when I don't know the origin of the... More

My friends and I always stop in at the Tailhunter Restaurant for great food and even better drinks. The Cadillac margaritas are fantastic!!! Tacos, Hawaiian ribs, coconut shrimp have all been outstanding. The service is always great and you can't beat the views of the bay.

Every time we are in La Paz we always dine at the Tailhunter Restaurant. Awesome food and awesome views. Jonathon and Jill Roldan and the staff make you feel more than welcome. We will be returning for many years to come. If you are in La Paz for fishing bring in your catch and have it prepared the way you... More

Been to tailhunters many years and always been delighted! The fresh ceviche from our days catch to the finger-licking ribs, homemade coleslaw. it was all delicious. Never a bad meal and always something different to try, even if it's not on the menu, they will make something special for anyone. Five stars for sure!

I have been to the Tailhunter several times and it has never disappointed. The staff is very helpful with suggestions and they offer prompt and courteous service. But where this place shines is the food. I always walk out stuffed because of the generous portions. Seafood, Mexican, in house fusion it is "all good". My last trip to La Paz,... More

My wife and I ate at Tailhunter's several times during our recent trip to La Paz. The food was excellent. The yellowtail sashimi and poke appetizers were off the hook! My favorite entrée was the beer battered tacos while my wife's favorite was the dorado in salsa verde. Service was great. The owners Jonathan and Jill are there nightly making... More

Lots of selection and we didn't have anything on the menu that wasn't excellent. We ate here several nights too. If you catch fish, they will prepare it for you any way you like (or several ways, in our case). Servings are very large. Service was great and you can't beat the price.

Before you get upset, I'm talking about the real meaning of FUBAR. Jonathan and Jillene run the best restaurant of the 20 or so I have eaten at in La Paz over the past several years, and if you know the La Paz restaurant scene, that is saying an awful lot. It's La Paz, so the fish is always fresh.... More

Thanks so much for giving us a try again! Sorry to have missed in May. Next time in, please personally ask for myself (Jonathan) or my wife (Jill) and that round of cold Modelo will be on us! Muchas gracias again! More
