Recommended by a local fisherman and an ex-pat for seafood

Best place for chocolate clams and lobster. Mid-ranged seafood is their speciality, with mostly Mexicans here on a Sunday. I had the Besos de Mariscos, a tin foil wrapped melange of seafood with huge pieces of clams & octopus to go with scallops and shrimp in a butter sauce. The seafood soup is a... read more

I went today, food was 3 out of 5. I ate at the bar, the barman was attentive and helpful. We ordered tacos which was the best of the evening. From there it all went south... Chocolatas Clams rellenas, tasted everything but clams. Jaibas rellenas were mmnah, not that tasty. And fish empanizado was just average. However the worst was... More

Bismarksito agreed to screen an early morning English football match on their satellite for us. We intended to just have coffee (and they were generous on their refills). The friendly waiter invited me to view ALL the taco fillings, and it was amazing (we were pleased with our picks: the marlin and the skate) and the wonderful salsa bar (I... More

Great view of bay. Good ambience. Friendly staff. Limonada too sweet and sour Hibiscus agua was good. Marlin empanada tasty but lukewarm and not crisp. Pescado empanizado lacked flavor and nothing special. Marlin with sesame seed had absolutely no flavor, super tough, it didn't seem fresh Salad and sides were underperform era specially for the price. Sorry to have wasted... More

The clams were large, very fresh, and sweet. Tacos were cheap and included the salsa bar. Wait staff speak enough Spanglish to help us understand the menu options and specials. Friendly crew. The restaurant has a lot of seating, and is quite the locals hangout in front of Malecon. This is why I like La Paz food better than Cabo.... More

They really try to be the Flemmings of La Paz but fall short. No blame. The Sunday bruch is popular. The owner is experienced and knows quality. I don't think La Paz can support his plan but he seems to keep the place above average. I ca it American as it gets in La Paz. Service is practiced. Food is... More

we had asked our innkeeper for ceviche and she sent us to this place for lunch...looked like another average restaurant on the Malecon...turned out really great fish and shrimp ceviche. Also tried the papa rellono...excellent!! Service was excellent and we were all impressed. We sat at an outside table...beautiful. Inside looked like a nice restaurant ...we'd come back for dinner.

Went for breakfast. Excellent tacos. Lots of different salsas available. All different tacos were very good. Will definately recommend. It's basically an open, roofed restaurant in El Malecon.

My husband and I didn't find the food that great here. With the price they are charging for the food, we did our best to eat until we're satisfied. We had plenty of leftovers and we didn't want to take it with us. If ever in La Paz again, we will not return to this restaurant. I don't recommend this... More

I asked where to get chocolate clams and was told this was probably the only restaurant that served them. I ordered them and they came out on a platter with 6 of them. They were all wrapped in foil and were about the size of a large orange. The waiter unwrapped them and then opened them. They had been cooked... More
