FABULOUS STEAKS

We went with a group. My wife ordered the Sonoran steak and I ordered the abalone. My abalone portion was small, although nicely presented. The meat was pretty tough. Since abalone is not commonly available, I have little to compare it with. However, I thought it was average at best. On the... read more

Benito Molina and his wife Sulange, are one of the best chefs in northern México. All of their dishes are simply outstanding and original. They created this new "mexico/mediteranian" style that is simply incredible, this is a must stop in Ensenada for anyone.

We went since it is very famous, food is good but we expected more. Mid to high price range, sea food from the area are the star dishes.

This is the place that started it all here in Baja. Some 15 years ago now. Albeit at a different location. And it is still brilliant. A fabulous foodie experience in a great environment. Although over the years it has been somewhat inconsistent, at it's very worst it is still very very good and worth 5 stars. And at it's... More

Too overpriced ... but the food was excellent ... if not for the price 5 stars!! The quail open ravioli was excellent as was the hamachi (yellow tail) sashimi and the farmed abalone. Just too pricey and the fact they charged you uncorking for wine purchased off the menu in the restaurant because the wine store (on premises) is "separate"... More

We are going to that restaurant for the last 10 years. We starded with a salad that was fresh, crispy and very tasty. The ribeye steak still has the best taste ever however it was not tender as it use to be. We hope that it is only one time. The waiter was very nice but the girls behind the... More

We went to Manzanilla with high expectations, expectations fueled by a good reputation and the inclusion of the restaurant in a magazines top restaurants in Mexico. Granted we went there during the Christmas vacation season (End of 2014) so maybe the main chefs were no there , the food was average but the prices high. The other thing that bothered... More

This was a great surprise. It was a little difficult to find but worth the time. The ambiance is rather simple yet elegant. The best was service and the food. All the 8 elements of the meal where gourmet with a touch of Mexican cuisine and style. The combination of ingredients was perfect for the most part. The service was... More
