Wow, super expensive and super worth it

You eat in the street, struggle mightily to get your food, eat standing up with no place to put your drink, you might get food all over the place and pay as if you where in a 5 star restaurant. This is just about the food and nothing else. You might get scared eating out of cart but trust in... read more

I've heard about this place for years and saw it featured on TV with Rick Bayless and Anthony Bourdain giving rave reviews. We finally made a visit last week during the week of the 4th of July. Found parking close by (on the Malecon no less). Unfortunately it was a little late in the afternoon and some of the popular... More

The bacalao tostadas is so yummy! It's the most popular tostadas here. Make sure you add your salsas yourself (must try the peanut salsa!) as they have many salsas to choose from! After you add your salsa, ask them to top it off with some avocado. And yes, it's an honor system. You order as much as you like and... More

The skinny: Parking- on the street, good luck Tables and chairs - no, its a vendor stall Service- non existant Food- not good Bring- wet wipes First you should know that you eat first, then pay later. With so many people hovering around the stall, you really don't know what the hell is going on. Fight your way to the... More

La Guerrerense has been around for a long time and for good reason. A street vendor, she has a well established level of expectation that her food is fresh, well prepared and presented and absolutely the best in Baja California. Possibly the best in Mexico. While street vendor may give thoughts of a bad night on the town, La Guerrerense... More

We eat here every year for at least 8 years or so sometimes 2x a day. Very very good. I have experienced new things recommended by the owners and have loved everything. Even the pate which sells out fast. Excellent food and service.

We typically plan our vacations around the world by the notable eateries. And since our family doesn't fish, like kitschy souvenirs or drink like fratboys, La Guerrerense is by default one of the top destinations in Ensenada for us. I tried the black clam, uni, and a ceviche and they were all top notch. The ingredients were fresh and the... More

So on our cruise from long beach to Ensenada we went in search of a hole in the wall kinna joint as they always have the best food! So we spot this corner surrounded by people... of course we had to check it out and OMG I'm so glad we did! Its crowded but worth it... I had a tostada... More

I visited Ensenada with my family for my father's birthday. We were very hungry when we arrived there and my mother had heard of this place on t.v. After searching for about an hour we finally found the place and it was packed. That meant the food must be good right? WRONG! Half of my family went for the tostadas... More

You have probably heard about this place for years. You have probably seen it on TV multiple times, like I had. You have probably thought, 'ok I like ceviche, but really how good could it be?' Well you just have to see and taste to understand. I will be honest, trying La Guerrerense was one of the motivating factors in... More
