I ordered chilaquiles and the menu said one price and the waiter asked if I wanted chicken or eggs with that. I order chicken and he didn't tell me it had extra charge. 140 pesos for a plate of chilaquiles. It's a little expensive!!!! They were good period.

I'm staying across the street and asked the concierge to recommend a place for breakfast. He recommended El Rey Sol and gave us a 10% discount coupon. We walked in and right away saw the pastries. Then as we entered the dining room we heard live not canned piano player. What an experience. Food was so good. I can't wait... More

We returned to this beautiful restaurant after an absence of several years. We always felt it was a great "celebration place," with super food, beautiful ambiance and excellent service. Alas, that was not the case for this recent visit. Extremely poor service started with our arrival and then had to get up to find someone to take our drink order.... More

This was one of Emsenada's best restaurants. However, it truly needs an update. The smell of cigars is still very strong and rather makes it unpleasant. The staff is excellent but the service is slow.

Been a few times now. Best place in the city for steaks and seafood. Good people that are very professional and attentive. Great atmosphere. Great wines, cheeses, breads. My favorite in Ensenada.

Okay, so this is Ensenada. And some of these reviewers still think they are in San Fran or LA but having eaten at this restaurant a couple of times in a ten years span, it continues to excel. A great fine dining experience at about half of what you'd pay in Phoenix and about a 1/3 of San Fran or... More

Always a real pleasure to eat here, either outside on the sidewalk or indoors where they have a very beautiful and comfortable dining area. Very relaxing pace and warm and cozy plus the food is always very good.... and comfor

Ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken .awesome! THE OLDER WAITER wasn't personable and we almost left because of his stuffy bad attitude. The younger waiter was excellent and he served us thank god. Glad we didn't leave because the fettuccine was awesome. Wife had chili rellenos and they were good but my fettuccine was the best. Chicken breast was tender... More

I always love having a meal or two at this establishment particularly seated in their sidewalk section. The food has always been very good and the margaritas are still the best I've had in Mexico.
