We went due to TA reviews however we think this place is overrated, especially in comparison with other restaurants in Ao Nang. I've eaten better chicken satay elsewhere and stir-fried seafood had everything else apart from seafood and especially onions. Chicken panang was nice but the portion was very small. Not worth a visit.

Found this place while going for an early morning walk. The back street down that runs behind the back wall (right, hill side) of the Timber House hotel and behind the Tourist Police building is the easiest way to go. Just walk down to the end. The stairs down from the hill is not too hard for able bodied people.... More

The Ko Dam is indeed difficult to find, but if you search Google for them you will find the map they have posted, which is very helpful in finding it's back street location. The food was quite tasty but heavily laden with rather less than appealing vegetables, there isn't much English available to the staff, which in other places has... More

lots of steps down to this home run little restaurant- quietly sat among the trees, the food is very cheap and very tasty- well worth the steps down, although you can go the back way if you are no good with steps!

As you know it's very cheap. If you have some meal lightly,I recommend. Fried rice starts 60baht. Fresh coconut was 60. It's near la playa and Naga pura. You stay there, try it.

KoDam Kitchen is never very busy, but this is because it is set down a few side streets that you may not ordinarily walk down. The food is very cheap, very tasty and you can see the chefs cooking the food to order in the kitchen. The staff are very friendly - although their English is not very good, so... More

We were staying at the Krabi La Playa, and this restaurant is just along the road. Don't be put off if the restaurant is empty, as it is almost hidden from the tourist track. The food was cooked very quickly, and the Tom Yung Soup, Pad Thai and Penang curry were excellent. One starter, three mains, 2 steamed rice and... More

A local place run by local people, speaking little English but enough to get by (they speak a lot more English than I speak Thai!).. The food was amazing and the price was so cheap.. We had a few lovely meals here, not easy to find, but worth it..

Once you find this place, don't be deterred by the lack of patrons! At least that calls for your food being served quickly. We were served by this grumpy Thai lady but it was rather amusing. The staff didn't speak much of English but we somehow managed to converse our order and got what we ordered (for the most part).... More

My husband and I stayed near to Kodam Kitchen. It was our first holiday to Thailand, and I had researched restaurants on Krabi with good, well priced local food. Kodam Kitchen didn't disappoint. We ate here on our first and last night, and the food was melt in the mouth delicious!! It really is tucked away, "rustic", very basic plastic chairs... More
