If you are in Ao Nang this is a must. Not fancy at all, but real local Thai seafood is served here fresh and fast. We had an absolute feast.

My 1st dinner at Aonang town was a total disappointment. My family and I were 1st time visitors to Aonang town at Krabi. So we were wondering where we could dine and enjoy real Krabi seafood, after a totally disappointing dinner at Wang Sai at the Nopphrathara Beach area. We were lucky when a travel agent at Leo and Tiger... More

My friend and I ordered a fried fish dish and about 3-5 hours afterwards started to get abdominal distension and became nauseated back at Suvarnabhumi airport in Bangkok (our flight was same day). I ended up puking and had diarrhea for 3 days straight. I lost my appetite and was nauseated off and on. I was weak as well. I... More

Have been here several times before and cannot complain about the quality of the seafood but I suspect that my bill was loaded up because they thought I was a dumb farang tourist. This ended up being the most expensive restaurant visited during this holiday by far and we tend to frequent more upmarket places.

Don't pay more! The range of seafood they have on offer is fantastic ranging from Lobster to crab, Grouper fish... More

Okay. This was definitely the best seafood I had in my life. And I had a lot. We had a spicy salad with seafood and it was so good (tasted like "ceviche", yummie!!) We had blue crab with yellow curry, with fried rice. And my girlfriend had red snapper, they not-so-spicy one. Very good!!! The staff was very nice, very... More

We decided to have a try after browsing through TA..It never let us down even though it is situated a bit far from Aonang. The seafood is fresh(lively pick from the aquarium) and the local thai food is tasty at a affordable price..the staffs service is good too..overall Krua Thara is a great restaurant that is worth to have a try.

Although this is a little bit of a trip from Ao Nang, it is well worth it. I had the Fried black crab in yellow curry and it was the best meal of my trip, hands down.
