Great View, Great Staff, Great Food!! Best Hotpot Seafood. Easy walk from our hotel, and photos galore of the views. To Tripadvisor: I don't understand why the review needs to be a minimum of 100 characters. I was able to give this restaurant an excellent review with 46 characters.

The setting is great, sat out on the terrace overlooking the sea. The food was pricey for the quality. You're definitely paying for the location with this restaurant. Probably best to go before dark to make the most of it. We got there at 8.30pm. Earlier reviews cite a lack of available tables later on in the evening, but the... More

It is located at the end of the beach from hiway 4203. It is by the side of the ticket booth for the longboat. There are a number of seafood resto in this seafood street. This resto is by the side of the beach. It is large open-air terrace overlooking the beach. In the evenings you can have a sunset... More

Nice sunset dining experience in spite of the heat from the open space. Recommended to try their fish in lime sauce, tomyum and fried squids in garlic. We had 10 pax and the serving portions were small. As such, you will need to order more and will definitely cost $$$ more! But the good part was, you will receive excellent... More

We had a wonderful Thai dinner here with very friendly and courteous staff. I think this is possibly the best, it was recommended to us and we were very impressed.

Ban Lay Thai is in the line of Ao Nang's "Seafood Street", and is probably one of the best restaurants you can find here. We visited this restaurant three times during our 6 day stay in Ao Nang. Staff is very nice. In particular the female head waiter was very service-minded and attentive. The menu is versatile. The food was... More

Went to Krabi for our annual holiday/honeymoon.. read in Tripadvisor about the restaurant and we decided to give it a try. For us, the food was expensive.. Personally i think that we paid for the view. hahahahah..but the food was good too.. This is a halal restaurant with a good view and food. So if you are a muslim and... More

Ate here early on in a 10 night stay in Ao Nang and wouldn't go back but I think that's because we went too late in the evening (9.30pm) and clearly they were wanting to pack up. My Husband doesn't eat fish so the selection for him was limited but he found something he was happy to order - chicken... More

I have travelled to Thailand 8 times in the last 15 years. Ate here at the conclusion of a recent 3 week trip, and never knew Thais could make food this flavorless. I can speak some Thai, and ordered some southern dishes -- a southern sour curry, some grilled fish, a shrimp salad, and a few others. The fish was... More

Setting, service, drinks and food were excellent! This was our first night out of our second holiday here, so we thought we would start with one of the favourites from six years ago and very glad we did. The only slight issue was that when asked for a dish to be not spicy, we got the opposite. I loved it... More
