Spectacular views, brilliant food, great service. Recommend you book a seat by the edge so you can enjoy the entire view. Prices are high by Thai standards but very very good food. Cost us about $150 for 5 but we really splashed out with bottle of wine and cocktails. Free tuktuk pick up which is a nice touch. Still good... More

The view is great. Food were above expectation. Service is excellent. Very attentive and friendly. Price is slighty on high side but worth it. Really enjoy our dinner. Please reserve in advance in order to get the best seat. You can ask your hotel front office to make reservation for you. The restaurant offer free pick up from your hotel... More

The Lae Lay Grill is in a fantastic position in Ao Nang, perched on the hill over looking the coast. The hotel put on a little tuk tuk to take you to up the hill to the restaurant and while you are waiting they give you menu to look at. From the moment you walk in the service is second... More

This was a nice find! Sitting on top of a big hill with awesome views of the beach and sunset. They pick you up at your hotel (our 3 couples were picked up at Centara Anda Devi and Ao Nang Villa) and dropped off after dinner. The food was exceptionally yummy! We ordered the local thai dishes like massaman curry,... More

Starting from the location up a hill to the menu with some simple but tasty dishes (I tried the grilled seabass in banana leaves) and the attentive service, I found this restaurant a welcome surprise after one whole week of dining in Aonang.

My partner and I were recommended to come to Lae Lay Grill by one of the duty managers at Beyond Resort when he found out we were heading over to Ao Nang last night. We arrived there after the sun had set and had an amazing dish of soft shell crab, crab meat omelette ( which reminded me of my... More

The restaurant does offer a great view of the beach.. Staff are attentive, however the food quality is not great. We ordered 5 dishes, 2 of them were too salty, and fried rice was very hard. Only good one was sea-bass but overpriced.

What a great surprise, great food but all tables around us reserved for later, be early and enjoy great food and good service ( easy though at 16,00 with only one table of customers)

Soft-shelled crab, mussels, grilled king prawns, steamed sea bass, vegetables, rice and drinks... thanks to arrangements made beforehand, lovely table on a relatively quiet patio with a panoramic view of sunset at 6pm. Lots of patronage from bus-loads of tourists-- filled up by 7pm. Prompt and friendly service. Probably not the cheapest seafood around at about USD 50 per person,... More
