Went there on several occasions and had fantastic seafood on every night. We had crab, prawns, various species of fish and they were all fantastic. You can see the food cooked at the large open kitchen which is adjacent to the seating area. We even saw Robson Green here one night!

After gone through various recommendations online, I decided to book Lae Lay Grill over various selections. The reservation was made though email. The reply was a fast one by Mr.Shine, and he promised to give us a table with absolutely good view to witness the sunset ( as i mentioned that the dining date itself is my boyfriend birthday). During the... More

The main selling point of Lae Lay Grill is its magnificent view of Ao Nang and mountains. This is a unique setting for a seafood restaurant - not seaside by high up above everything. As such, Lae Lay is superb for a romantic evening or fine dining with friends. Sunset here was awesome. The food here is naturally seafood, with... More

Restaurants in Ao Nang can be a little samey, but the Lae Lay Grill is definitely something special. The menu is vast and the seafood is the star of the show. We enjoyed starters, mains (one of which was lobster) and sharing sides plus a bottle of prosecco and it came to £80 (including tax). It's located on an elevated... More

We visited the restaurant after fnding pretty mediocre food in Ao Nang and reviewing it on tripadvisor. The restaurant is a short walk from the main road in Ao Nang and it is signposted on a billboard at the road end. Once at the restaurant you are transported up the rather steep hill via truck. This is quite fun and gives... More

The food is good, the view marvelous, the prices are exorbitant. We do not appreciate menu prices that are topped with service tax and V.A.T.! Call a cat a cat: list your prices totally! Children menu is terrible; meat was stiff like a flipflop.

We arrived around six to watch the sunset which was very nice and we got some lovely photos. I had the sizzling peppered beef and rice and my hubby had the sirloin steak which were both good dishes. I had lime ice cream and he had tiramisu. 2 beers and 2 cocktails 2200bt, nice touch that they collect you and... More

Arrived at the Lae Lay grill in time for sunset set over Ao Nang and glad we did as has one of the best views in the area. The food is mainly seafood based from local grouper and dory fish through to lobster thermidor. The wide selection and very reasonable prices for Ao Nang make this thee place to eat... More
