A Typical Thailand Irish Pub

The Irish Rover is a 400 m walk up from the main Ao Nang beach and is off the main eastern road that goes towards Krabi Town, there is a short steep climb up to the pub from the road. We found this a good stopping point on our way back to the resort which was quite a good distance... read more

We spilled quite a few beers here on the second floor while playing pool; great spot to play pool and have some different fun. The table isn't the best nor is the equipment but it was fun as heel while in Thailand; beers were cold, what else could you want?

Went up the street looking for this pub but building showed a different sign. Chap from nearby motorbike rental told me it had gone. Ah well, Patong Beach tomorrow & I know some Irish bars there.

The food is good and plenty. Very noisy ,tv on all the time .OK if you just want to drink something cold ,but if you are going to eat the noise is to much

Thought we would get a nice meal in here and a decent pint but sadly a lot of drinks advertised were not available. The food and drink is expensive for what you get, not just for imported goods. Didn't rate the sandwiches - I'd ordered the cheaper 'sliced bread' version but got the more expensive baguette brought out - same... More

Always great to find a Irish pub, The Irish Rover is a great bar, unfortunately we were there for the Soccer and it was super empty. The beer is good and the staff are friendly, would definitely visit again soon.

Was excited when we found this place as it is tough to find off the main strip. Great look to the place - but they had no air conditioning on, and refused to turn it on for me and my family. Then they were out of Guinness! The manager was very unwelcoming and appeared to not want any business.

Had a few drinks here with mates and its a good place for this. The food is so so and service, well it was OK. I like how this place is tucked away. It does get fairly lively. In all not bad.

I traveled with a few soccer nuts, so it was always important to find somewhere to watch the game. We found the environment to be cozy and the staff to be extremely welcoming and friendly. Obviously there was the occasional language barrier, but nothing we couldn't figure out without some point and hand gestures. We enjoyed the food and had... More

This is a nice little bar for a quiet drink. The interior looks irish and the bar itself looks french, so I will let you make up your own mind. Food looked and smelt delicious, but I didnt buy any, just had an expensive beer instead. Its completely different to omalleys so go for a look and make up you... More
