Great pub food, lovely atosphere, beautiful view, lovely setting.

My husband, toddler and myself dropped in one lunch time out of the holiday 'season' and were blown away with this gem of place. We have already set motion plans to return to wonderful Gailoch and this is 100% on the list of dinner hotspots to introduce our friends to who will be joining us. The... read more

We come up to this area every year and have never been in for food before, only drinks so after failing to get phone reception to make a booking we drove down on a freezing cold, rainy Thursday night. To our amazement the place was almost fully booked but we managed to get a small table near the bar. The... More

We spent a week in Gairloch, and three of our six lunches in the area were at this lovely place. The seafood broth (a sort of West Highland version of Bouilllabaise) was astonishingly good, and the view, whether in pouring rain (late October in the west highlands - I'd have been disappointed if it hadn't rained ferociously!) or in lovely... Situated by the harbour on an open sea loch the Inn is an old seafarers pub. It has a a coulorful history. You can eat inside or outside with wonderful views over the loch and the harbour. It serves excellent real ale, and the food is good value and excellently cooked. The locals are great (watch out for the superstars... More

In a lovely spot overlooking a sheltered harbour, there is an outside terrace and a conservatory restaurant. The pub is small and does get very busy. previous review have suggested the food is poor, but we ate twice in the same week and had good local food and well presented meals both times. Local beers too. It is not a... More

We came here on a beautiful sunny evening and wanted to linger in the bay, stopped for drinks on their wonderful terrace (highly recommended) and got hungry...big mistake. I ordered smoked mussels to start, which I later realised were from Loch Fyne. 200 miles away. Bear in mind that there is a local fisherman based by the slipway next door.... More

We arrived here really looking forward to our meal, we took a chance but only due to having a 5 year old and 8 month old to deal with whilst eating out. We arrived for 6pm meal I ordered ahead of all other tables as we were there first but for some unfortunate reason our food took over an hour!... More

Lovely setting by a secluded yachting harbour. Excellent menu with plenty of seafood. We went midday and it soon filled up. We were told to book if we wanted an evening meal as this place is so popular. Highly recommended!

We visited the Bandachro Inn on the recommendations from friends. It is high up in the Scottish hills, down little single track roads, over bridges and cattle ramps and suddenly you are in a wee little town and this restaurant. It over looks the water and is surrounded by hills. Food is fresh and tasty, we a salmon and cream... More
