INTERESTING EXPERIENCE

This restaurant is in the main square and we ate downstairs in the cellars. The food and service were good but the prices seemed a bit higher than you would normally pay in a provincial Czech restaurant. It seemed to be aimed at rich locals and tourists.

Restaurant is located on the old plaza. If you will decided for the outside terrace, you will look at the historic town square. Staff is very professional and attentive. The quality of the food is on very high level, as well as the service. Fried pork schnitzel with Austria potato salad and Caesar salad were delicious. We will definitely come... More

I don't believe locals would pay these prices. It's not expensive by European standards but high for rural Czech Rep. Quality and variety was good, however, so that's what you're paying for. I had beef cheek, which melted in the mouth (obviously). Mash was nice but a bit minimalist with only a minimal veg garnish. Choice of beer was poor.

We had a lunch here. We had chicken and duck and our daughter chose salmon from the children's menu. Everything was tasty, the duck was probably the best. We ate outside because it was warm, but there are also seats in the ancient wine cellar which is worth to see. We paid 648 kr and wanted to give a tip... More

We read some reviews about this restaurant - the best restaurant in Litomerice. The stuff was helpful, it was ok. But the meal was a little bit dissapontment for us. We were on terrace and the meal was cold, maybe long distance from the basement kitchen. Also the combination of food was strange - beans with pork ? Cannot recomend.

We ate outside on their terrace. The only draw back is it is right by the road and cars are driving by. The food was very good. The salmon was excellent as well as the duck.

We visited this restaurant last week by tripadvisor reviews and I need to say that it was good choice. Excellent and nice staff, very enjoyable restaurant and food? Yummy! Italian zucchini soup, poached salmon with burglar, roasted pork meat... everything excellent.

I have been there in September 2010. Location of the restaurant is on mid age historical cellars with mystic amusing atmosphere. Portions are good. Staff is pleasant. Price is reasonable. I recommend this restaurant. It's unique experience.

Lovely meal in Gothic cellar on the main square. I had the duck with red cabbage and dumplings. Absolutely divine! A Czech version of crispy duck. Yum! Husband had beef cheeks, which were also very tasty. Starter of liver pate with onion was good too -- we shared it and were glad we had done so as the mains were... More

located in the old vine cellar, with amazing atmosphere, this restaurant offers a good variety of delicious food; traditional Czech dishes are excellent; very friendly staff who speak English
