After hearing people sound like they were having a good time here we decided to go for a snack and a drink. We didn't have exceptional service from the bar tender and when we asked for a food menu he made a few suggestions of things they served. I had to clarify that I'd like to see the menu, where... It's very unfortunate that Travellers seemed to be the only bar in town. My friends and I stopped by for a drink and quickly realized it was a bad idea. Our waitress was in no way professional and did not know the names of any of the cocktails meaning that he boos had to return to our table to confirm... More

The waitstaff is friend but between the 3 cocktails we ordered we could not finish any. The Pina Colda was tasteless (not even a hint of pineapple or the flavour of Malibu), the Long Island Ice Tea tasted strongly of scotch whiskey (which should not be in their, we checked) and the Russian Meal was also fairly tasteless. The staff... More

Well, travellers was something quite different. We visited twice, and the bartenders seemed to be more or less drunk both times. Not that it bothers me at all, good fun. The only real gripe I have about the place is that my wife found four of what appeared to be finger-nails in her Pina Colada. Show-stopper.

Visited the place on a weekday night. Overall a nice place to chill out. Nice music and nice people around.

We came here to get some western food, thinking that a bar named Travellers would do some good western food. To our surprise there wasn't a burger in sight on the menu. We ordered travellers chicken & black pepper chicken, both served with chips & coleslaw. After half an hour wait the food arrived. The coleslaw was simply lettuce, tomato... More

The Travellers Bistro & pub is a nice place to chill out in the evening, to have a drink or two, and to meet people from all around the world, as it is the only “open concept pub” in Tanah Rata which is nice for patrons (like me) who don’t like 2nd hand smoke from smokers. The pub also serves... More

I wanted a short getaway for the new year and Cameron Highlands was an excellent place for its cool weather. But to find a place on Cameron Highlands where people from all over the world could gather for the countdown party, Traveller's Bistro & Pub seemed to be the only place available, and indeed it was a great place! Thank... More
