Office dinner

Nine of us went yesterday evening for a birthday dinner. Ample parking, welcoming atmosphere, nice wood burner. On the whole the food was very good, decent portions, well presented.

Had a lovely dinner here with friends and family, the food was excellent and we would recommend the fish and chips also the fabulous steak was cooked perfectly. The food was presented beautifully and the fish and chips are wrapped the 'old fashioned way' the staff were great very helpful and full of smiles. Big thumbs up will return to... More

Good food and beer, pleasant atmosphere and gracious innkeeper. On a recent outing with friends enjoyed a good lunch with excellent drinks. Next to the Oxford canal which should be nice in summer. Worth a visit

This is a very strange review. Friday was fairly quiet we had a big table of 21 in who were very noisy and seemed to be having a great time and two others. There were no complaints and more importantly there was no one named Robert or a surname beginning with G booked!! Maybe this guy was unlucky as it... More

Food was amazing and great value for money, myself and my partner both loved our meals and staff very knowledgable about what's in the food as we both have allergies. Massive fish and chips!! It was like a whale!! Will be going back on Sunday for the Carvery with the kids!! 👍🏻🍸🍾🍴

Stopped at the boat Inn twice over the course of a jolly boys outing along the canal. There was plenty of choice and the food treated great. On one of the occasions the carvery was available and was outstanding with a great choice of meats and veg with a great tasting gravy. Got to meet the owner and have a... More
